  • The Best way to pull mule tape into a conduit raceway. No matter the size 🤔 This seams to be the fastest way. Master electrician Ron Doyle here on Maryland's Eastern Shore will show you how to speed up your production time in getting it done. This very simple trick of using plastic shopping bags from your local grocery store + a large shop vacuum to, suck it up buttercup 🤠 lol....
In this video I'm installing 5/8 mule tape 1800# test line into a 4" sch.40 pvc 510' primary conduit run, and pulling 65' of mule tape into a 3" sch. 40 secondary conduit run.

I love when us electricians use the bag method. I remember doing a parallel 4” run into a house and the conduits were filled with water and muck. It was a lovely day

Excellent job Ron. Reminds me of my days as an electrician pulling feeders in switch yards. Thanks!

Hi Ron, Have you considered adding a wireless remote controlled switch to the vacuum so you can remain by the spool?

Great job Ron i remember when I was working using the same method on my wire pulls.the hardest part came when pulling in 500 mcm and 750 copper,up the lifts and into the ceiling.that’s the only thing I miss but really miss working with my guys and the fun we had cutting up on each other.but you gave us another great video on your good work.

I seen Tom at fate farms do this and it was so cool. I hope one day I can try this. I didn't even know this was a thing.

Video looked very interesting, however, the wind in the microphone was a deal breaker!

That worked awesome ! I’m starting to think I should’ve used mule tape .. power company said I can use nylon rope. Also told me I was OK with 3 inch conduit. Hopefully this doesn’t backfire on me Haha. New subscriber buddy.
