Me & my wife together earn 190K /month. We invest in our purchased land loan 50K/month and LIC Umang plan 25K/month .. i.e., 75K/Month as savings. Usually 30-40K / month for spending and we will save the remaining amount left for the gold loan that we used while buying land (extra amount from land loan). All our savings are short-term. Land loan for 10 years and a LIC policy for 15 years (already we completed 3 years) so I get a pension of 25K/month after that for a lifetime (max till 99 years old) meanwhile our principal amount will also get multiplied if I don't withdraw the invested money & importantly this policy includes our death cover (both of us) as a back up for us since we are childfree couple.
