  • Join us on today’s road trip! We drove 1736 miles (round trip) to Idaho to buy our brand-new house on wheels!
We will go through rural Utah, up to Salt Lake City, over to Twin Falls Idaho, and straight into touring our brand-new camper. “Pay the man!” That was all I could think of when we first saw it. I was and still am in love.
On the way back we decided to go take I-80 after Salt Lake and down through Laramie and back into Colorado. Of course, Denver was a nightmare but we did not want to test the new house out on the mountain passes we covered on the way in.
The dogs did amazingly this entire trip. Bolt slept probably 90% of the time and Gus made sure to drool on our shoulders as much as he could. They both slept comfortably with us at the truck stop but were very ready to get out into the fancy dog park.
By the time we got home, we were all exhausted and ready to cozy up in the new camper.
The same evening, we got home, moved in, organized, and woke up the next day to head to the in-law’s property down South to have a birthday weekend for Levi.
We are BEAT but as soon as that wears off and I get things the way I like them, we will do a full camper tour to show our new home. Something I want to point on in a tour is how happy we are to be in this slightly older but four seasons and cozy home.
Our 2015 Nash 23D cost us exactly $21,000.00 and it does not need an ounce of renovating to make us happy. RV life does not have to take place in a $100,000.00 camper people.
Thanks again for checking out today’s video! I am rather proud of this one as it is my longest and I think best edited. I am always working on improving so feel free to comment with your thoughts or recommendations for my next video!
Of course, let me know what you think of the new camper!

That seems high for that old of an RV but if it is suitable for your needs and is in good condition it might be worth it 😊

    New to your channel
Didn’t catch where you’re living. You mentioned Idaho many times but I missed your starting and ending point. Alaska? That is a long drive -14 hours

At this point we were living in Colorado! We drove to Idaho to buy the camper for living in. Then in May of 2023, we drove to Alaska for good!

Did Levi's folks sell their house and move to Alaska or just buy the cabins in Alaska for summer vacation?
