The only knife that holds the blade securely without movt are the ones where you have to fold a retaining clip out of the way so you can swing half of the holder out of the way to remove or install the blades. None of the quick change blade holders will hold the blade without a wobble.
All such models that support quick changing the blade, Bosch, Stanley, or any other brand, has the same issue. The blade has sideways as well a slight up-down movement. I haven't used the Milwaukee one, it is very highly regarded, would like to know whether that one also suffers from this issue.
I have a few utility knifes and they all move abit... I have fixed as well not quick release and they all move abit ....I think your theory socks it's not true...... your just baking the utility knife s .....most of them the blade moves abit
I think they have made it so that the blade gets damaged inside, so that then you need to buy new blades and there will be people that only buy same design blade
Based on the reviews i saw for their hand “professional” tools, all suck. Screwdrivers get stripped, allen keys snap, spanners break, this woobly cutter. I don’t know what company they’ve contracted to build their handtools but they seem to be garbage…
I know what you mean, quality can vary the screwdriver tips in the yellow boxes aren't great but power tools have been reliable and nothing broken with lots of use.

Hello there. Thank you for the great review.
I wanted to ask, what is the material of the handle? is it plastic or aluminium?
