What is the strongest weapon of mankind? The god-machines of the Adeptus Mechanicus? No! The Astartes Legions? No! The tank? The lasgun? The fist? Not at all! Courage and courage alone stands above them all!
Where as man has courage, what have the horrors of the Warp? FEAR! Once after a battle, a heretic who had tried to flee the battle asked me: then what of the deamons of Khorne? And I said to him: Their very nature is only to kill, they are born with this desire, it is not courage, courage is what happens to a man when they fear, for when they fear, they do so only for a second. Courage is the uncontainable rage and power wich follows this second, the deamons of Khorne are cowards who revel in suffering only to run when they are beaten.
Yes indeed, she has such a melodic and powerfull voice. It doesn't always have to be gritty and dirty I much prefer real vocals. Amazing Job on this Song, It's probably my favourite yet
I may fall, but ten will take my place! And if they fall a hundred will take theirs! And a thousand shall take theirs! So strike me down, I am the harbringer!
@The God Emperor The people of Catachan shall slay the enemies of man for eternity. FOR MANKIND, FOR THE IMPERIUM, AND FOR THE EMPEROR! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
A loyal guardsman holds the line with his brothers against abominations that twist the mind. Many of his fellows have their minds corrupted but the commisar fires true even in these dreadful times. They are running low on ammunition. All of a sudden a rain of bolter fire mows down many of his comrads as traitor astartes join the battle lines of heretics and mutants and demons. His line is faltering. They have lasted long, yet the supposed reinforcement fleet is a week away at best, many have lost hope. - These heretics must suffer if we are to fall they must pay the butchers bill to do so. - the guardsman thinks to himself He raises his voice and affixes his bayonete, his lasgun has little ammo left. "AVE IMPERATOR" his fellow men rally at the cry, remembering that for which we fight. A commisar joins the cry and calls one last charge. - We are outnumbered but we have his light to guide us. - they realise As one they cry "Ave IMPERATOR!" and charge out of their battered trenches. "If we die, we die valiantly. Outnumbered and outgunned we may be but courage and grit we have in plentiful supply." A Sargent tells out They charge, many falling to bolter fire. A lucky guardsman fells a chaos astartes with a melta grenade in a valiant suicide attack. The loyal guardsmen keeps firing while charging at the chaos hordes, who the mortals which mostly fill it are stunned at the guardmen's zealous, yet surely suicidal charge. Those guardsman are among the last imperial forces among the planets defenses. Part of a battle line defending a spaceport that had gotten entrapped by a flanking maneuver. They manage to reach the enemy lines, and the guardman stabs a heretic with his bayonete, his ammunition having run out moments ago. "AVE IMPERATOR" they call, detirmned to make the heretics pay the price "AVE IMPERATOR" the guardman calls just before a demon severs his emaciated body in twine. He lay dying in the mud and blood praying all the while to the emporer. The last sight that reaches his eyes is the demon that butchered him being torn apart by a mysterious astartes covered in flames. - Has help arrived early? Who are these *astartes*. It matters not my fight is over. - he thinks befuddled and amazed by his avenger He closes his eyes, hoping burning ever brighter at the cause. In his last dying breath he hears chants of "AVE IMPERATOR" seemingly with renewed vigor. "May the emporer protect my soul." He whispers in a raspy voice.
As the planet cracked and splintered and the all consuming darkness crept forward one final message was heard to come from the planet, “All ships fall back we shall hold them for as long as possible, Cadia stands, ave imperator.” The ships fell back and as they did steaks of lasgun fire could be seen on the wrecked surface, “Cadia Stands, Ave Imperator,” that would be the battle cry that would force daemons to a standstill, send chaos space marines back into the eye, it would be what maintained order and held chaos at bay.
Hear me heretic you gain no victory from Cadia's death for we stand with Terra, for we stand with faith, for we stand with the Emperor, for Cadia Stands
Reminds me of another quote: "They are in front of us, behind us, and we are flanked on both sides by an enemy that outnumbers us 29:1. They can’t get away from us now!” - Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller, USMC
@@leobracken2316 no it didn't! Cadia stands! No armless Horus wannabe EVER destroyed the greatest of Fortress Worlds in the Imperium! Nor did said Horus wannabe kill Rogal Dorn with a bunch of knock off death metal Luna Wolves.
Imagine: You're part of the last survivors of your Imperial Guard regiment. As the Chaos Daemons are charging in you rise up and shout: "AVE IMPERATOR!" and charge alone towards the horde of hellspawns. The rest of your fellow soldiers follow you in your charge. You smash through them with untold momentum falling one by one. Before you die you look up watching a whole chapter of Space Marines descending from the heavens. They will pick up the fight from here
The Emperor protects. Even if your mortal body grows cold your soul will be bathed in his holy light. His Astartes are his vengeance given form. His Imperial Guard his mighty shield. The Emperor protects always.
@@GhostBear3067 They defended humanity just as the emperor does. They may have not all the credit they do not expect themselves to be rewarded but the emperor knows they have done their duty. For the space marines shall honor them. Hail to the fallen.
A guardsman may stand surrounded by the enemy, out of ammo and with a broken bayonet, still he will stand and fight with the ferocity of the entire Imperium! The Planet broke before the Guard did, brethren!
Enemies of the Imperium, hear me! You have come here to die, the Immortal Emperor is with us and we are invincible! His soldiers will strike you down, His war machines will crush you under their treads, His mighty guns will bring the very sky crashing down upon you! So make yourselves ready, you cannot win.
@@commanderrex8351 Actually that is the speech of Lord militant General Lukas Alexander, from Warhammer 40.000: Dawn Of War: Dark crusade. When you're invading the Capital of the imperial guard, which is their main base, Lukas Alexander will let his speech out.
I feel like this is a prequel to a legion of the Damned appearance. Imagine it, the guardsmen say a final prayer, load their last charge packs, sharpen their beyonetts, and watch as a demon horde charges across the battle field toward them. They fire, they stand, and finally they brace for the fight to the death. And just as a screeming warpspawn abomination tears through them, in the very moment of final despiration, the blades of the demon meet the corpse fire wreathed sword of a silent astartes in armor of shadow and flame. In that last moment a legion of the emperor's vengeance turns the tide and the demons flee before their doom.
In my mind this is going on during the fall of Cadia. The last void capable vessel leaves the cadian surface, and over the din of a dying planet, hear two words bellowed by creed himself. “Cadia stands” and as the crust of the planet rips itself apart, a circle of guardsmen, Kasrkin, commissars and whiteshields close close in around their beloved general on their beloved planet. The endless hoard dying in the thousands to cadian defenders who already know their fate. And as guardsmen are ripped apart by demons, Kasrkin overwhelmed by literal millions of cultists and whiteshields are torn apart by traitor astartes, the chaos abominations hear no please for mercy nor cries of fear, only the defiant shouts of the mortal defenders of the imperium. Cadia stands! Ave Imperator!
Brady Donovan and this is even more impressive when you put it into perspective. Abaddon wanted to take the planet, a symbolic victory where what is arguably the strongest and most battle tested fortress of humanity falls before the Black Crusade. And once again he fails, the Guard simply refuses to break, no matter what he subjects them to. So the sore bastard cheats and cracks the planet. Cadia Stands, the planet broke long before the Guard itself was even close to breaking.
@@EdinLG what makes this even better not only does the imperium realize just how much effort he dumped into cadia the imperium now literally ordered every planet near cadia to reform into cadia and train as it which completely fucks over harmless abbie
@Lord Admiral Spire Let's be real, the main reason it survives is through its sheer size and the achievements of its founders. It is a stagnant empire, that's what it is supposed to be. The New Middle Ages.
@Lord Admiral Spire That's more tragic than heroic to me. Then again, this is more of a matter of perspective. Like, in the US, Soviet resistance to the Nazis is seen as tragic, while in Russia it is considered heroic.
@@principetnomusic the middle ages were anything but stagnant. The Imperium reflects more the late Roman empire, stagnant, corrupt, overstretched, with a lack of good leadership. At this point the Imperium dividing would actually be a good thing.
Our foes march in numbers beyond counting. They believe us to be inferior and weak. They believe they are stronger, faster, better trained and better equipped then us. They believe their Gods will grant them inevitable Victory. Let them believe what they will. *reloads Hotshot-Lasgun and adjusts Helmet* We *know* that the Emperor is with us!
We might not have the physical power of the orks, the psychic talent of the eldar, the sheer numbers of the tyranids, or the favor of the warp itself, but what we have is our faith in the Emperor, and that's enough, it has been enough for over ten thousand years and it will be for ten thousand more! The Emperor protects!
I, personally, imagine the last remnants of a Guard regiment standing in the burning ruin of a city. Before them stands the horror of the archenemy, the neverborn at their flanks. Behind them flies their banner, dancing defiantly on the wind. On their lips goes out the cry, "Ave Imperator!" and it is their dying light that makes the last beacon for the fleet in orbit to seal the fate of the world and all the hated foe there. As the planet breaks beneath their feet, the last guardsman holds the banner high and cries out for the last time, "Ave Imperator!"
Black Templar? I can't imagine them singing in battle, merely screaming pure nonsense of hatred through their helmets. I could see Death Watch doing it.
The Death Korps of Krieg approves of this song. The Death Korps of Krieg also wonders if you have this song in German. The Death Korps of Krieg also wonders if you have it in bass boosted. Also in German.

In my mind, this song is going on as Cadia is breaking apart. Song starts, the defenders, creed, Celestine, cawl, and all the Astartes wonder who is gonna be left behind, as there are not enough ships to ferry them all to safety. Then the chorus comes in and Creed is issuing his orders “the eighth will hold the line on Cadia till the end” commissars start walking the lines of soldiers who do not even need them. They are loyal to creed and Cadia, ministorum preachers are administering final rights, and as Cawl’s ark mechanics leaves the evacuation zone a voice can be heard above the din of Cadia’s sons final fight. “Cadia stands” Ave Imperator the last words on the lips of Kasrkin overwhelmed by 100s of the lost and damned, the final cry of a guardsman staring down a Khorne berserker, the shout of a commissar as he fights and dies side by side with the grunts and the white shields who are now as seasoned as any veteran. Cadia stands, ave imperator.
From the shadows, I hear the prayers of thousands. When I'll be back, rescue shall come to those who abandoned hope. No mercy for the enemies of Mankind. Victorus aut Mortis.
I know that this will be lost in the sea of comments but I just wanted to say that I am using this song's lyrics in my Pathfinder campaign as the official anthem of Hell. To those that are unaware of general pathfinder setting Hell and Abyss are two different place of existence that are sworn enemies, Abyss is ruled by demons who are chaotic evil that only want to sow chaos misery and destruction for their own joy while Hell is filled by devils who are lawful evil and are actively stopping demons from spreading across the multiverse (actually nearly every major plane of existence does it but Hell is the most extreme when it comes to it) and first devils came to be when angels became a little bit too obsessed with stopping the demons and started seeing chaos in general as the problem rather than just those that are chaotic evil. In short devils have a mentality of "to fight a monster one must become a monster" with added absolute obsession about status quo and authority which I think fits very well with the song. After hearing it for the first time I decided to add a little addition to my world's lore: the very devil that sits on the very top of the Hell's hierarchy is given the title of "Imperator". Thank you so much for making this song, while I am absolutely aware its more aimed for 40k fans I just wanted to tell you that when it comes to quality such as this borders of fandoms means nothing.
"From the flame and the pain." In the screen of my imagination: Every Female vocal -> Sister of Battle on screen Every Male Vocal -> Salamander on screen Both of them together -> Pure fucking arson.
"The Battle of Gathalamor: The battle began when the Word Bearers Chaos Space Marines assailed the holy Imperial world of Gathalamor Prime. Their Dark Apostles summoned Daemons, and the fight turned viciously against the Imperial defenders, which included the Mordian 84th Regiment and Order of the Argent Shroud. These brave souls dug in to stage their last stand in the ruins of Gathalamor's macro-cathedral. As the hordes of traitors mobilized for the final attack, the Crusade arrived in the form of a combined force of Adeptus Custodes and Grey Knights. Inspired by the arrival of these demigods, the Mordians and Sisters of Battle advanced, prayer songs rising from their ranks. The Word Bearers and their Daemonic allies launched a savage counter-attack, but, after three days of vicious fighting, the traitors were broken in the Battle for the Statue Steps." Pretty similar, Is this the battle?
This xenos are highly superior than any you, they mastered the art of combat during centuries, they killed undefeated enemy, they know they are better. But there is something they don't know, when they were practicing their fighting skill in the cozyness of their warm ship we were fighting for our own life grabbing our lunch out of the hands of weaker than us. When they slept in the better bed they fight to won, we were shaking in the cold of the night. They never know true war, they always fight but they never have to survive. This is why any of us have more value than all of them
When a song makes you want to die for a fictional cause charging an eldritch horror with nothing but a sharpened entrenching shovel. FOR THE EMPERAHHHHHH!!!
Your weapons have been destroyed, your limbs have been broken, you lay down on the ground powerlessly, watching you brothers charge hopelessly into the endless waves of enemies. And at that very last moment of yours, you try to shout as loud as you possibly can, as heroically as you have ever dreamt; “Ave Imperator”. Your last words are not heard, your last effort means nothing. But as you finally accept your fate, the words you’ve just said are repeated for a second time; “Ave Imperator”. Then a third, a fourth, ...; you look up into the sky and to your surprise, an entire army has arrived, and they all shout the same words. “AVE IMPERATOR” as the whole sky covered in ships among ships; “AVE IMPERATOR” as the ground exploded by tons and tons of missiles and bombs; “AVE IMPERATOR” as the space marines jump down from the sky and make the enemies fucking vaporized. Then you close your eyes, knowing that although you have died, you have held your faith, so that now, you are immortalized.
I see a "music video" for this song a bit like this: During the intro, an aerial view of a battlefield being attacked by Daemons.Basilisks in the back firing barages to try to slow down the daemon advance. During the first verse, soldiers in trenches and behind barricades "clinging to their prayers". Muffled sounds of artillery barages in the background. During the chorus the front line of guardsmen bayonet-charging into the daemon horde, taking as much enemies with them as possible. During the second verse the soldiers of the second line fix their bayonets and prepare to charge the horde. During the second chorus it focusses on a female guardsman laying on the ground, about to be killed, but the daemon is shot down by a male guardsman. The female gets up, grabs her lasgun and together, back to back, take down as much daemons as possible, but eventually getting overrun. During the musical bridge we see the backline getting overrun by the daemon army. The artillery gets overrun, we see the crews of basilisks desperately defending their positions, but to no avail. In the last chorus, a daemon gets hit by a fiery bolt. Out of the darkness appears the Legion of the Damned, their guns spitting death and finnally driving back the horde. In the outro, we see another aerial shot of the battlefield. Mounts of dead guardsmen and daemons, destroyed artillery, with the Legion of the Damned killing every daemon in sight. In the last shot, we see the fiery Marines walking up to the place were the two guardsmen lay dead, one with the banner in hand, surrounded by dead daemons.
"Ready, Sister? " "The servants of the Emperor are always ready, son of Titan" "Indeed we are sister, indeed we are" "Ave Imperator, Brother-Captain Alastar. I will search for you at the Emperor' right" "Ave Imperator Sister Celeste. I will not search for you, for where I go, there is no room for souls as good as yours " "Then, Alastar, listen to my last request" "Anything, Sister" "Until death does us apart, will you stand by my side? " "To the Heart of the eye of terror if needed, beloved sister. Ave imperator"
A Gothic (my mediocre Latin from back in high school) translation of the chorus, which should also fit the melody. Thanks for the song Ave, imperator! Hail, Emperor! Ante Te purificor! I am purified before You! Remove dolorem flammarum, Remove the pain of the flames, et des respectum ad finem! and give me respite at the end! Ave, imperator! Hail, Emperor! Non timebo noctem! I will not fear the night! Et ibo in tenebris mortis, I will go into the darkness of death, protector fidei luminisque sum! I am a protector of faith and light!
a guardsman sits in his trench close to despair. his friends and comrades have fallen beside him and are looking with cold dead eyes at him while the arch enemy shout, scream and cry out there battle cry's. he is almost willing to just let them end is life. then a squad of black Templars and sisters of battle march towards him from the rear whilst singing this song with there vox amplified voices and behind the song the growing battle cry of he imperium "FOR THE EMPEROR!" as the imperial guard advances. the sullen guardsman just stands there transfixed as the space marines and sisters of battle just march past him and carry on towards the enemy. his heart fills with joy and pride as he loads a fresh cell and fixes his bayonet and clambers out to join them in what could be his final charge as he takes up the cry "AVE IMPERATOR!!!"
I am one man, But I stand not alone. I may fall, But ten thousand shall take my place. I face horrors uncounted, But I will hold the line. I am the Hammer of the Emperor, I am an Imperial Guardsman; And I. WILL. NOT. YIELD! AVE IMPERATOR! GOD-EMPEROR WILLS IT!
This is finals week at my college and this is the perfect song to listen to right before, during, and after the exam! I must say that this ties in my favorites, right next to Cadian Blood, but i think this is better. Another wonderful song love the difference in voices, lyrics are nice, music is beautifully done as well. Thank goodness we have content creators like you out there, wish you'd get more recognition for the work you do!
I think it's because we naturally sympathize with the "underdogs" or those who are being oppressed but still trying to do something about their situation. By nature the Imperium is a dystopian theocracy who treats its citizens like trash (which drive many to Chaos and Rebellion) and killing all xenos presence without mercy, crushing all chance for diplomacy. Normally the Imperium is the oppressor, but... When Eldritch monstrosities and malignant champions blessed with Chaotic energies lead hordes of mad killers to surround the Imperials on all sides, and the Imperial soldiers still hold their ground and fight on in the name of the Emperor, in the name of the people they love, and in the name of the values they hold dear, then we can't help but feel sympathy for the virtuous men and women who are trying their best to in a cruel and uncaring galaxy.
"If one guards their faith strongly enough salvation before you shall appear" Indeed it shall, cast in black cermaite and bone, wreathed in fire and borne of vengeance. When fate hangs in the balance, they will come and you will be victorious on that day
I want a multi-source music video of this. Including the clip from "Guardsman" where a Cadian is ready to face off with a swarm of Tyranids with nothing but a combat knife.
The XX legion fucked up. Instead of summoning a huge horde of demons the power they unleashed somehow (most likely deliberatly, given the Alpha Legion) was highjacked by the Emperor, and he appeared in some sort of avatar (like those of Khaine for example)
I imagine a scene of a lone Astartes among guardsmen, defending a planet. He had been sent there with a handful of his battle-brothers to reinforce the front, from a Chapter who venerate the Emperor as a hero of humanity, but not a god, and so at first he found the guards' literal worship of the Emperor as a deity to be a bit silly, like children deifying their parent - the first time he heard this song, he simply rolled his eyes and ignored it, even as it burned itself indelibly into his transhuman memory. But over the course of his time with these men and women, he came to understand their frailty and their deep psychological need for something beyond themselves to believe in, something to pray to. Now, in this final battle, he stands beside a young woman who had been leading the song the night before, her hands shaking with fear as she struggles to hold her lasgun steady. In a moment of compassion, the proud Astartes kneels beside her, places a hand over hers and begins singing, bidding her and the rest around them to follow in their prayer together, one last time... "Ave Imperator! Show me his protection! As I step into the flames, The light of faith guides my direction! Ave Imperator! Before you, I am cleansed! Remove me from the pain of the flame, And grant me mercy at my end! Ave Imperator! I will show no fear this night! Into the dark of death I'll go, A protector of the faith and light!"
I love the sheer rage and energy behind "ave, imperator!" makes me picture a gaurdsmen calling it out as he lunges at some traitor marine, a krak grenade primed in each hand, the lines after being fitting for something like that as well "I will show no fear this night" Will never get tired of this song Glory to the first man to die!
I think this is this is the HMkids song ive most wanted a cover for, truely we must all be truly bkessed by the emperor to recieve such a wonderous sanguinala gift.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I got here thanks to one Chronicler called Oculus, and although my fate is not as strong as his, his worth and dedication as a fellow man of the Imperium is the kind of virtue that I'd fight for. AVE IMPERATOR! GLORIA, EN EXCELSIS TERRA!
"Ave imperator!" The guardsman chants, fire keep firing no think, they are on us the Tyranids, pray and fire... "Ave imperator..." He keeps saying, ground shakes once, it was the Leman Russ tank, who knows, keep firing a roar, and he sees it a Scream killer Carnifex, the gazes some how's cross he fires to the monster, then again the ground shakes, the Carnifex roar, and something answers his roar, a war horn, that makes the land shake, for a moment the Tyranids stops, the guard turns to look, he sees a god of war the mechanical fury of the Emperor, and Imperator titan...."Ave Imperator."

I can totally see a animation of a space marine and a guardswoman singing this while holding off a horde of chaos space marines and demons before finally falling
Expectation: Commissars have to threaten their soldiers to keep them from fleeing before the swarms of horrifying daemons and xenos Reality: AVE IMPERATOR
This song makes me imagine a scenario where Chaos has won, Daemons are overrunning the Imperial Guard, and this one squad just shouts THE EMPEROR PROTECTS and charges in, dying in a blaze of glory. In their last moments, they see the Legion of the Damned appear around them.
The holy trinity of the Imperiums defense. The Space Marines - his vengeful angels, descending in the most dire hour to smite the darkness that has befallen. The Sisters of Battle - The shepherds of humanity, guiding and protecting his people through the darkness. The Imperial Guard - His bulwark against the enemies outside his realm, the first to stand, the last to fall.

i can just imagine every single imperial soldier saying this at exactly the same time in the fall of cadia as the blackstone fortress collides with the planet

- the guardsman thinks to himself
He raises his voice and affixes his bayonete, his lasgun has little ammo left.
"AVE IMPERATOR" his fellow men rally at the cry, remembering that for which we fight. A commisar joins the cry and calls one last charge. - We are outnumbered but we have his light to guide us. - they realise
As one they cry "Ave IMPERATOR!" and charge out of their battered trenches.
"If we die, we die valiantly. Outnumbered and outgunned we may be but courage and grit we have in plentiful supply." A Sargent tells out
They charge, many falling to bolter fire.
"AVE IMPERATOR" they call, detirmned to make the heretics pay the price
"AVE IMPERATOR" the guardman calls just before a demon severs his emaciated body in twine.
He lay dying in the mud and blood praying all the while to the emporer.
The last sight that reaches his eyes is the demon that butchered him being torn apart by a mysterious astartes covered in flames.
- Has help arrived early? Who are these *astartes*. It matters not my fight is over. - he thinks befuddled and amazed by his avenger
He closes his eyes, hoping burning ever brighter at the cause. In his last dying breath he hears chants of "AVE IMPERATOR" seemingly with renewed vigor. "May the emporer protect my soul."
He whispers in a raspy voice.
you should send this over to chaotic voices

Plot Twist: Nameless Guardsman is actually the spirit of Ollanius Pius
As the planet cracked and splintered and the all consuming darkness crept forward one final message was heard to come from the planet, “All ships fall back we shall hold them for as long as possible, Cadia stands, ave imperator.” The ships fell back and as they did steaks of lasgun fire could be seen on the wrecked surface, “Cadia Stands, Ave Imperator,” that would be the battle cry that would force daemons to a standstill, send chaos space marines back into the eye, it would be what maintained order and held chaos at bay.

@@commanderrex8351 Actually that is the speech of Lord militant General Lukas Alexander, from Warhammer 40.000: Dawn Of War: Dark crusade. When you're invading the Capital of the imperial guard, which is their main base, Lukas Alexander will let his speech out.
We are the 1st Kronus regiment, and today is our Victory Day!
The most underrated comment on the internet
Ave Imperator!
ruclips.net/video/wengjBVL9Pw/видео.html Always liked this one
Brady Donovan and this is even more impressive when you put it into perspective. Abaddon wanted to take the planet, a symbolic victory where what is arguably the strongest and most battle tested fortress of humanity falls before the Black Crusade. And once again he fails, the Guard simply refuses to break, no matter what he subjects them to. So the sore bastard cheats and cracks the planet. Cadia Stands, the planet broke long before the Guard itself was even close to breaking.

This song perfectly displays just how The imperium of man survives such an unforgiving galaxy. I shed holy tears this day.
@Lord Admiral Spire Let's be real, the main reason it survives is through its sheer size and the achievements of its founders. It is a stagnant empire, that's what it is supposed to be. The New Middle Ages.
@Lord Admiral Spire indeed, Admiral Spire. The Emperor protects us, now and forever.
@Lord Admiral Spire well said, Admiral.
THE PLANET BROKE BEFORE THE GUARD DID!

I can just imagine a sister of battle and a black templar singing this while holding the line against a hoard of chaos deamons.

“Cadia stands”
Ave Imperator the last words on the lips of Kasrkin overwhelmed by 100s of the lost and damned, the final cry of a guardsman staring down a Khorne berserker, the shout of a commissar as he fights and dies side by side with the grunts and the white shields who are now as seasoned as any veteran. I know that this will be lost in the sea of comments but I just wanted to say that I am using this song's lyrics in my Pathfinder campaign as the official anthem of Hell.
To those that are unaware of general pathfinder setting Hell and Abyss are two different place of existence that are sworn enemies,
Abyss is ruled by demons who are chaotic evil that only want to sow chaos misery and destruction for their own joy while Hell is filled by devils who are lawful evil and are actively stopping demons from spreading across the multiverse (actually nearly every major plane of existence does it but Hell is the most extreme when it comes to it) and first devils came to be when angels became a little bit too obsessed with stopping the demons and started seeing chaos in general as the problem rather than just those that are chaotic evil.

The Word Bearers and their Daemonic allies launched a savage counter-attack, but, after three days of vicious fighting, the traitors were broken in the Battle for the Statue Steps."

I see a "music video" for this song a bit like this:
During the intro, an aerial view of a battlefield being attacked by Daemons.Basilisks in the back firing barages to try to slow down the daemon advance.

They are. humanity first, For the Emperor.

This getting released and the Emperor starting to walk among his followers again in the lore makes this the best Christmas ever
Wait Father's back ? Tell me more.
Apparently a surge of psychic awakening pushed enough power for a material form of the emperor to appear.
The XX legion fucked up. Instead of summoning a huge horde of demons the power they unleashed somehow (most likely deliberatly, given the Alpha Legion) was highjacked by the Emperor, and he appeared in some sort of avatar (like those of Khaine for example)
I hope we get a ghostly model of the emperor’s avatar

As I step into the flames,
The light of faith guides my direction!
Ave Imperator!
Before you, I am cleansed!
Remove me from the pain of the flame,
And grant me mercy at my end!
Ave Imperator!
I will show no fear this night!
Into the dark of death I'll go,
A protector of the faith and light!"
I love the sheer rage and energy behind "ave, imperator!"
makes me picture a gaurdsmen calling it out as he lunges at some traitor marine, a krak grenade primed in each hand, the lines after being fitting for something like that as well "I will show no fear this night"
Will never get tired of this song
Glory to the first man to die!
And the second, third, 4th, ... 10^12th
I think this is this is the HMkids song ive most wanted a cover for, truely we must all be truly bkessed by the emperor to recieve such a wonderous sanguinala gift.
I played this in my car
now it's a Baneblade
Remember, we need HMKids - Blood Angel (Sanguinius) too.
Friendly reminder "The planet broke before the Guard!"
Thanks, I almost forgot Their heroic sacrifice
@@tiltiege7842 Glad I could remind you.
Lmfao what a funny moment though
I don't know about the rest of you, but I got here thanks to one Chronicler called Oculus, and although my fate is not as strong as his, his worth and dedication as a fellow man of the Imperium is the kind of virtue that I'd fight for.
AVE IMPERATOR! GLORIA, EN EXCELSIS TERRA!
All the deamons gangsta 'til the church starts walking
When the Black Templar starts singing along with the Sister of Battle
ALL HAIL THE OMNISSIAH! We are here brothers and sisters and we bring HIS wrath, Charge the Hellstorm Cannon and load the Vortex Missiles!
This song is amazing and i love everyone who made it possible for me to listen to it.
I loved original song, unfortunatelly, I cant speak Russian. Now to hear in language I can understand, its awesomeness reached new hights. I salute you, and Im dedicated heretic, so that speaks about your abilities even more. Great work
Wait, there is a Russian version?
@@GhostBear3067 the russian version is the original
I can totally see a animation of a space marine and a guardswoman singing this while holding off a horde of chaos space marines and demons before finally falling
Ave Imperator indeed, sometimes even hugs can't solve everything. Flamer time!
Emperor be praised!
AVE IMPERATOR!!! BROTHERS AND SISTERS!! LET NONE LIVE!! FOR THE EMPEROR AND THE WILL OF MAN!!
I'm absolutely stunned.
Expectation: Commissars have to threaten their soldiers to keep them from fleeing before the swarms of horrifying daemons and xenos
Reality: AVE IMPERATOR
This song makes me imagine a scenario where Chaos has won, Daemons are overrunning the Imperial Guard, and this one squad just shouts THE EMPEROR PROTECTS and charges in, dying in a blaze of glory. In their last moments, they see the Legion of the Damned appear around them.
daeomons: WELL F**K BOYS RUN
The holy trinity of the Imperiums defense.
The Space Marines - his vengeful angels, descending in the most dire hour to smite the darkness that has befallen.
The Sisters of Battle - The shepherds of humanity, guiding and protecting his people through the darkness.
The Imperial Guard - His bulwark against the enemies outside his realm, the first to stand, the last to fall.
Correction, first to stand, first to fall, i loce the gaurd but lets face it, the soviets had a better K/D in ww2 then the gaurd in any aspect
@@Inqusitor_VDM doesnt matter. They have so many soldiers that its mathematically impossible to kill them all before the Astartes arrive
Perfect! Thank you for this amazing cover and a cute voice! Original songs from HMKids always were lacking this kind of approach with a high-quality recording!
Ave Imperator! Gloria in excelsis Terra!
Thanks to you I now imagine the Orks shouting rhytmical and the Astra Milletarium marching to some rock while the mechanicus is naruto running to the beats of an
idol
This gave me tyranid-sized shivers.
It still makes me feel glad to be human whenever I see feats of some guardsmen
This is getting my toaster wetter then the admech idol.
@@Peter_Turbo4 *Total nonheretical wetness*
@@chairmeme6231 Ah, the holy oils.
During the past 2,5 weeks i have been multiple times exposed to a risk of contracting the coronavirus. I pray to the Emperor every night before i sleep, i have not exhibited any more than mild symptoms. Ever. Ave Imperator.
i can just imagine every single imperial soldier saying this at exactly the same time in the fall of cadia as the blackstone fortress collides with the planet
The Emperor Protects!
But the Emperor also granted you your Flak jacket and helmet, Guardsmen!
THE PLANET BROKE BEFORE THE GUARD!!
Just got my OFA level 2 cert and I see that Stringstorm posted a new song, a helluva gift! Ave Imperator!
In the emperor name, let no one survive
