- Today I'm showing how I built these easy DIY pantry shelves and pantry make-over with no previous experience. Complete makeover by ripping out these old wire racks and installing some custom floating shelves with cabinet storage. I love woodworking. I redid my whole walk in closet in a similar way. If you add added a lazy Susan to the corner where the water bottles are that would be good too. You did a fantastic job it looks amazing!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Thank you so much! Im sure you can do it! Once you learn your tools it all becomes easier and less intimidating! Wishing you all the luck! If you have experience with tools go for it. Remember measure twice and cut once! Measurements can be tricky so its always best to measure twice to avoid messing up cuts. If you dont have much experience with tools I suggest leaning to work with Miter Saw (looks scary but probably is the easiest tool) Grab free scrap wood from HOME DEPOT and practice cuts over time... Ive collected my tools over time they can get expensive over time but HOME DEPOT has lots of bundle deals on tools often. Good luck with everything!

It turned out amazing you did an awesome job I'm working on mine now doing same concept I just used 36 inch cabinets bc I have a bigger pantry but didn't want alot of cabinets less is more i also love the open gap for drinks

You can do it! It took me about a week however if you sketch it out get all materials and start early you can really do this in 2 days or less. I had a bunch of store runs and i was also new at this so it took me a little longer!

It looks amazing . Do you mind sharing the spacing between the shelves ? I’m wanting to do something like this and are the cabinets the 12in depth
Hi, Yes 12 in deep cabinets and they were I think 30in wide, they are from Home depot.... Dont quote me on this i believe I did 15ins spacing between I will suggest giving the first spacing from the cabinet the most space to allow for bigger storage items you might want to add a microwave or coffee machine etc. Take items/jars/bins that you will be placing on the shelves and measure them and add a few inches to ensure they fit!
