@@TheBigDaddyDReviews1 Just wanted to let you know the second season of He Man has been announced. And it will be coming out March 3rd. I am so glad that its coming out so soon.
As a 47 year old self published author who had a dream of being a comic book artist because of the original He-Man I loved this show. It reminded me of how I felt all those years ago the first time I saw the show. Revelations had amazing art for some of the characters but the show it self had no heart, it didn't make you feel like you wanted to be part of the team. Although the show doesn't look like it's made for OG Fans the story, characters and overall feel of the show was made for OG Fans. As a writer I spend so much time in my own imagination creating thrills, mystery and horror for my readers but this show takes my imagination back to a simple time. When all I wanted was the next adventure with He-Man and the crew. In closing the 8 year old in me would like to say something. WE HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!!
i like how Cringer is made sympathetic rather "an overgrown pet kitten" or a comic relief. the show actually gave me a reason to care: he got his claws removed by Beast Man.
Yeah, that's the rivalry/history that Cringer and Beast Man had that I was referring to in the video. Didn't want to have too many spoilers in the video.
I honestly think that this 2021 series of He-man and the masters of the universe is a good reboot of the franchise, and is currently better than masters of the universe revelations.
I enjoy watching these videos , they give me a sense of deja vu. the old television shows not just the story but the physicals of the characters are interesting to me. Thanks for sharing. Lilian
I like the show more then revelation , sometimes a manly tear driped from my eye because of the teamwork by the kids and its like in good old times in the 80s.
I love the fact that everyone knows He-Man is Adam. It makes everything else that much more personal and heavy, ya know? Also the bit with the names. Lol 💀 Please, call me Skeletor!! 🤨…. Why? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad I enjoyed that reboot more than Revelation However the 80's He-Man fanbase hating on it sums up why I stick to watching 90's and 2010's cartoons like Gargoyles and Hero Factory.
@@TheFLAMEXD Yes, I found this CGI He-Man to be massively enjoyable - and I'm a child of the 80s! Revelation was still good, particularly when it picked up in Part 2, but there was a few things about it that I wasn't entirely happy about. And yes, I've done a couple of videos on Revelation as well! 😉
I genuinely actually did like this iteration of He-Man. Is it different from the 80's version? Certainly. But it has a pretty engaging story with pretty good characters and a lot of great action moments. That's honestly all I could ask out of a He-Man series (Revelations was close to the mark of being engaging and great action but the problems with it were big enough for me to not really have a good time with the series) I honestly am excited for season 2 and I can't believe I can say that, I didn't think it'd be all that impressive but you know what? Bravo CGI HeMan, youre pretty good. Hope kids will enjoy it.
Cool, thanks! I wish I'd had kept more of my old action figures. I still have Rokkon and Blade from the original 80s toyline, no idea why I only kept those two.
Great review, though I'm not sure if I'm sold yet. The MOTU reviews do make me want to head over to my parents house, break out some of my old MOTU toys they've kept around. 😂🤣
2:56, not to mention..basically walked away from the villain group because he and Teela didn't sign up to take out anyone's hides violently as Kronis and Evelyn wanted. 3:54, yeah..that kinda surprises me considering he was always the coward in the original show. Here, he reminds me a bit of Obi-Wan Kenobi..though David Kaye who voices Megatron from Beast Wars is an amazing choice for Cringer. 5:25, 0.0 I personally will call R'Qazz...Rick Astley.
I hope after this series is over we would still get more He-Man stories. I think we need some more new generation shows to refresh the He-Man brand. I certainly would want to see a He-Man cartoon using the heavily sakuga and forshortening inspired style of recent action cartoons like Lego Monkie Kid, Glitch Techs and Rise of the TMNT

The CGI show is fun, but the MAJOR deviations from the standard He-Man/She-ra/MOTUPOP lore are a problem and my BIG concern is that og fans are rolling over for the MAJOR deviations in this show, just because "well, it's not for us, it's for the kids" could end up being taken as a greenlight from tone-deaf studio executives to change the template of the MOTUPOP franchise & mythos moving forward, potentially resulting in fans of core aspects of the original shows NEVER getting reboots that are for us/them again. I enjoyed this show, I think it was very funny & amusing, & had a great Skeletor, HOWEVER, the removal of the Duncan adopting Teela relationship etc. is a problem & shouldn't be given a total pass just because "for the kids", because IF PEOPLE DO THAT, it could result in us NEVER getting reboots of the MOTUPOP mythos/brand that ARE for us again. You KNOW how tone-deaf studio executives can be: i.e. the executives at the studious could construe such unreserved praise as a total pass to NEVER again create content that IS for fans of the original who want to see all the core aspects of the MOTUPOP mythos/lore maintained: one can easily imagine them essentially saying: "as long as we don't market it as "for" fans of the original, we can make any extreme changes to the brand we like, & they'll just sign on for it." All good points that you have raised there. Let's hope that this series continues to be enjoyable and doesn't get bogged down by studio interference. Because that has really worked for the best previously, hasn't it?
@@TheBigDaddyDReviews1 lol, indeed. My main hope is that future reboots, in the main, reunify twin siblings He-Man & She-ra, and stick to the core aspects of the lore, while keeping the good writing and excellent humour that this CG version presents. I honestly treat this in the same vein as the many iterations of Transformers and Marvel media (including the MCU). Making various changes while still honoring the lore that came before. I agree with you on the Teela and Duncan relationship though. Personally, they could have easily still make Duncan Teela's adoptive father, overworking to provide for her but lost his Man-in-Arm title due to his lack of self confidence with Kronis taking the credit and being manipulated into working under him.
I personally enjoyed this new CGI show a LOT more than Revelations….and I grew up watching the original Filmation show in the 80s. This show was just plain fun, clever and entertaining. I binge watched the entire thing. I had to force myself to finish Revelations…
I really enjoyed the CGI He-Man show and I cannot wait for the second season. As far as Revelation is concerned, I don't think that they should have split this into two parts, I think that did more harm than good.
@@TheBigDaddyDReviews1 I agree with that. However he isn't annoying or useless. His design is way close to Metroid. 3. Even though the magic and stuff is great, there's inconsistency with the way things are done. Like evil lyn can give attack drones a replication spell which makes them multiply every time they are hit, but this is never used again. Teelas magic, sometimes she can break her fall other times she falls and gets knocked out. 4. Stratos - not with the character himself but what they did with him, he's shown as this jock who won contest to be king. He is pompous and when he is told by he man to start focusing on defending his people. He changes but is gone. 5. Krass aka Ram Ma'am aka Rampage. Comes across as whiny. I have seen every He-Man show and film the 2002 reboot, and New adventures were the pinnacle and can't be beaten KS tried that and failed, I love what this new CGI show did they have combined He-Man lore with the modern-day CGI team formula and come up with something completely new. The writing, pace character development, and design are well done and the closing sketches before the credits roll are insane, it shows this show has a very good production team behind it and know what they are doing.
