Unsure which to purchase, Neat or Neat plus? I'm wondering, what's your opinion of the plus after owning and using for several months now? I have read of some disliking the hose on the plus being nearly 4' shorter. Also, one reviewer stated that when pausing the plus's trigger between use, a full minute of waiting (each time) is necessary for the temperature to increase producing steam again. They stated, this is because of the smaller continuous hot water tank and the larger refillable tank. Whereas the regular neat's temperature stays consistent for the entire single tank, requiring no wait period. Have you found this to be true? I like the idea of the continuous water tank feature, but a shorter hose and constant waiting for steam to produce again is unfavorable for me. Any thoughts? Thanks
The Neat plus takes 1 minute and 30 seconds to heat up and an additional 30 seconds of holding down the trigger to get good steam and if you pause for 1 minute or so it only takes 3 to 5 seconds to get consistent steam again, and yes the hose is a little shorter but long enough to get the job done! Overall it is the best steam cleaner I have ever used and is a huge improvement compared to the original Neat and I highly recommend this product, the Dupray neat plus! Always remember to use distilled water only.

Does the hose disconnect from the unit for storage, or do you need to store with the hose attached?
The hose isn't removable on this model.
