For how much I love and find this unique evolution very fun and goofy, I think it will break the game no matter the final changes they make. There's something in the basics of the Mega knight that make the card hated and that's the highly defensive capability he has. Can't kill it, can't stop it, and now he will push your whole attack back constantly like it's nothing, making it only more harsh to break through your opponent defense.

The unit was countered by minitanks but now it even deals with those.
Exactly, I think that's gonna be the nerf.
Another nerf could be that his knockback only works every 2 or 3 hits like the monk.

how do you even counter it if your deck doesn't have a building? mini tanks are utterly useless, swarm gets spelled, ranged troops get jumped on

I think that Evo Mega Knight knocking things backwards if you don't place it right could actually make things interesting. You'd be missing out on the potential to damage the tower more often, but you'd also be running the risk of getting kited harder or endangering your own tower.

The thing that makes it so good is the fact that it launches towards the tower, instead of wherever it’s facing.

God I actually love this evolution so much (concept wise). It looks and feels like a boss fight, and I find this absolute unit just uppercutting everything so hilarious yet badass at the same time. I also adore how this just might be the most intimidating unit in the entire game (the voice lines especially do a fantastic job at instilling this), dude’s gonna be a fucking menace. In terms of gameplay though? …Uhhh…

I seriously don’t understand why people think I’m meatriding this card and think it’s a fantastic addition to the game when all I said was I liked its visual design 💀 I agree, I think it sucks ass gameplay wise and absolutely should not have been the first legendary evolution (or an evolution at all, to be frank. MK did not need one it’s already annoying as is), I just appreciate the design and boss-like feel of it, that’s all. That’s as deep as it goes. I like nothing else about it. I have no idea why this is so controversial to say.

The animation, the concept nothing feels like clash royale i was watching the very first trailer of the game, never could have thought this will be it's future. I usually don't cry on supercell for every other thing but this does not feel like CR. I genuinely wished that some other company to acquire Supercell from Tencent. Let’s not overreact, the knock-back with faster jumps makes sense;( he knocks units to a range where he could jump).
I just see players playing strong single cards instead of buildings and swarms; buildings are completely unaffected.
So imagine cycling to evo mega knight just for someone to inferno tower it.
He has no stat boost so this is actually pretty balanced and reasonable for the 1st legendary evo.
True but the other buildings don’t counter the mega knight, and making a character with a frustrating mechanic even more frustrating by allowing it to defend any push (except lavaloon I guess) easily isn’t a good idea

Remember when they nerfed knockback on the battle ram evo because knockback was just too strong as it pushed heavy units and sent them four tiles away? This is this but one cycle on a card that counters ram too.

Wow I never thought that clash Royale would get to the point where you need evolutions to counter other evolutions, you can no longer rely on normal cards or combination of normal cards to counter because if you do they are forcing a 5 elixir card like the inferno tower into your deck. How am I supposed to defend when I require a hard counter to it? Even if I have a building to distract the evo MK I need high enough dps units and better placement than my opponent 24/7 to get that dps while they can spend more elixir on spells and troops. Wtf
