The way this song is composed, it can fuel so many scenarios, full of tension, suspense, action. A fearless warrior trown into battle, a brave hero, or a helpless dweller escaping from hopeless demise.

Found this from the EqD post for the Balloon Party. I have to say, this is far more intense than most of the pony music I have. It's quite epic. Makkon, I must say, you are a musical genius.
I love how Makkon puts more emphasis on the artwork of The Little Toy Shop, yet Dregs still gets more views.
I put much more effort into The Little Toyshop in every way compared to this track, especially in the melody and the instrumentation. I guess people like Dregs more for it's faster pace, and that it conveys a less specific mood than The Little Toyshop, which tends to paint a particular picture in people's minds.
Or maybe it's because Dregs is louder and more distorted. Can't figure it out.

Makkon Just found this today thanks to the Guardians animatic. I'd definitely have to say that the pacing is what does it for me. It just feels like pure action, it's driven, it's got an 'epic' feel to it. Toy Shop seems to be going for a more creepy vibe, so it's not exactly fair to compare the two - it's two completely different goals/audiences.

Makkon Thanks for letting me know. Dang, I've been miscrediting the song on the Brony Music Billboard Hot 50 for all these weeks! In any case, it's become a sleeper 2014 hit, with all of its weeks in the top 10 so far since the video came out! It also debuted at #2 and kept there for 2 weeks.

Is there a place you listed the software you used for songs like this? I want to dip into music like I kind of used to.. but SERIOUSLY this time and with stuff that SOUNDS great and yields a result like this.... I have FL Studios 11 Producer edition but I don't know if this is what I need, cause a lot of what I hear in this program sounds a bit cheesy and weird... too old school computerized and not as professional sounding as I would like.... I'm glad I got it for free from a close friend.
