We'll look back on this period in time as Arsenal fans years from now and realize how lucky we were to have him. An ex-player coming back ,promoting young players, signing new young players and working with Per and Edu who were also both former players. That's the situation you dream about. Really happy he's our manager.

I’m 26 and I genuinely don’t think i’ve felt this type of atmosphere at Arsenal before. Obviously we had more success at Highbury, but since the Emirates era it’s the first time that there’s been a genuine feeling of something special building here. It’s why so many of us are fine accepting we’re not quite there yet, because it almost feels inevitable that we will be at the top again soon. God bless super Mik Arteta

The positivity around the club is the best it’s been since the Invincible’s era. I think the squad is not quite there yet for the title this year (the Gabriel Jesus injury shows how thin the squad is), but we’re the second best team in England and have the opportunity to be in the title race every year for the conceivable future with Arteta

Micah Richards is the most insightful into the Morden game as the most recent ex player, with the least amount of bias I would say. He also is very cheerful and always seems to have a positive spin on everything. Gary, annoying with his choice of words, does create conversation that can spark people to question football decisions today as well as how our modern game is different to the “old” game and how important tactical issues and the build up play is more important now than simply getting it up there and scoring.
I get it, they ain’t everyone’s cup of tea, but boy I don’t think it’s okay to diss them on a programme they aren’t even presenting, it shows how much you are thinking negatively towards them and how they are living rent free in your minds. Come on people

As a lifelong Gooner, I was happy to have Arteta in the midfield, as he seemed a safe pair of hands in the middle at a time where we really lacked quality. He seemed to be a leader on the pitch, but if I remember right injuries really cut down on his playing time towards the end of his playing days. Very impressed with the improvement he's brought to the team, he was definitely dealt a rough hand at the start but you can see he's followed through with his vision, and I'm glad the Arsenal execs have given him the time and backing to do so.

Pep and Arteta are so similar, not just playing style but ability to spot talent. Pep convinced that a rookie @ just 30 without any coaching experience should be his assistant at one of the sought after clubs and in the toughest league in the world should be highly commendable. Arteta seems to be doing the same with his coaching staff (Cuesta and co) and players too.

Excellent watch, what Mikel has done for the club has been immense. His plan was a good one, bringing in a team of hungry young players with potential was the correct option for us, given our situation. Together with Partey and Xhaka in midfield, they have done very well to be this good a unit so quickly into their development, and they are still four to five years from their peaks. The atmosphere at the club is totally different, much more positive and supportive! There is a palpable spirit of positivity to the club right now, especially at the stadium. Hopefully Mikel and the team continue to develop over the coming seasons!

It is extremely satisfying as an Arsenal fan to hear that our manager set out with a five-stage plan with checkpoints that he wanted to hit - and that Arsenal is ahead on this plan. I know there are many ways to win in football (chopping and changing managers is one way, for example), but just knowing that our club is led by someone like Arteta is so reassuring. He made a point that was pretty clear, He said he wants other clubs to be scared when they enter emirate stadium which Arsenal fans called the fortress ground. One major observation was the trial and error for a midfielder, he signed Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid it failed and he tried Oodegard from the same club. Here were are it’s a win-win for the club and the fans. Great job Arteta. I am sure Arsene Wenger will be so pleased with his managerial performance.
