I am playing this piece as a cello student. It is amazing, i had never considered the voices, bach really liked poliphony, didn't he? Still the harmonic structure is amazing with the modulations and stuff. Greetings! I hope i am already prepared to playing this piece, my teacher said "Don't! it is not time for playing bach yet." Still i read it but from a transcription. Another teacher in the cello academy where i study said it's better to play the suites full and in the order they are written (1 to 6) another advice i didn't listened to either since i skipped the full suite 1 and i look forward to having enough technique to play the suite 6 prelude and the suite 2 Minuets. I am a bad student :(
Hi Javier, I like how ambitious you are! I agree with your teacher that suite 1 is the easiest, but suite No. 2 is technically not much more difficult. Maybe wait with suite number 6 because that one is hard(-: regardless, if you are passionate about it you will get there. Thanks for watching! Inbal
by the way Inbal, i hadn't liked this video yet, i am thankful with you for breaking down the voices of this movement. I will be working on it. My fingerings and the bowings pretty much are good to go for the moment. Now the thing is dynamics and voice differentiation. Thanks and greetings!
What a great sound of the cello!

What strings do you use?
Good timing, Inbal recently released a video talking about strings. ruclips.net/video/-Hy0j1XxxyM/видео.html
