Glad you were able to get fitted, but let's be honest, that fitting seemed underwhelming. The fitter didnt try different heads or lofts, and barely tried different shafts. In the end, hope you are happy with the setup you got!

It's surprising that the Mizuno shaft fitting device has not yet become a standard feature among the major golf brands. Hopefully with the development of AI that will be the next big thing in golf, cutting down fitting time and radically improving the experience for club golfers who 99% of the time get sub-standard service at golf shops and demo days.
It's only a starting point. I play Steelfiber i95 which was not in my Mizuno shaft optimizer list. I picked it after others didn't work and because I've played with them previously. The human brain is infinitely complex. So there's nothing to replace digging it out of the dirt with blood, sweat and time.
Always fun to see Callaway and TaylorMade older models bomb in price when a new model is launched …. Then it happens all over again in a year or two. 😀

This fitter says softer shaft causes more draws but I've heard others - fitters and tour pro saying stiffer helps with draws as less shaft droop (edit not deflection) so you can turn it. Wonder what's the specific reason in your case. Would have loved to see more shots and compare strike location. The new Tour Ad VF shaft would have been an interesting comparison too.
@@steveputland4324 long drive pros use softer lighter for the kick that adds speed and launch (forward deflection), I guess that might close the face in a different way (axis).
@@steveputland4324 so more forward deflection vs shaft droop ? A softer shaft / tip section would encourage more droop. Guess the shaft would have to be designed to specifically minimize droop while promoting fwd deflection.

I am sure you had lots going on, just a little surprised you didn't try the triple diamond as other you tubers are saying this model is a lot more forgiving. I am originally from Northern Ireland but live in Ottawa, Canada and will not be playing for at least 3 months, so a trip to a warmer climate would be nice, enjoy@@CoachLockey
Get the weight kit! I’ve got (currently, depending conditions) 6 up front 10 in back . Great way to dial in speed & launch & spin! Also have a Mavrik sub zero 4 wood with 8x8 weights . The 2 and 14 is too extreme in either setting. The current paradyn fairways DONT have 2 weight ports!!! Unless you’re Rahm, Xander, Phil, Akshay, Sam B.
Danny Maude was on that very range a few days ago - he was having a lesson on distance and ended up booming shots past the farthest bunker! Did you get past that?!
Looks like Callaway is doing a full court press to launch yet another wrench that will make only marginal difference to the average hacker, (e.g. 15+/- HC. Great for the better players but a non event for the rest of us.

Coach; with your skill level there’s no reason why 17:15 your not finding center of face more often than not. I just traded out my Maverick that I was and accepted low heel more often than not and center of fairway finding machine. Hate saying it being a Callaway guy. Alright I won’t go there. Just spend some more time on shaft/ head combinations. I know it’s there. Good luck.
Sorry, but I didn’t think the Callaway fitter did a good job. 2 shafts and 1 head combo not the way to go. How about the golf ball? affects both launch and spin.

I bought a 2009 TourStage driver head and a decent shaft and grip. Total $67 and it is a rocket launcher!

Softer shaft always helps shut the face , hence why Kyle Berkshire uses a senior flex in his long drive driver now !
