Great video on these spirits. Like you, I like the history of spirits, and have fallen in love with the liquors of the SW US and Mexico including tequila, mezcal, and sotol. Sadly, I've only tried a single raicilla, and it was not a good example, but was all I could find; it was cheap and tasted like it- it was briny and medicinal with clear intent to "fix" it with added sweeteners. As time passes, I hope more examples come North into Nevada where I live to explore.
