The falsetto's reminds me of Prince, with moments of Curtis Mayfield. The switch from the hammond to the rhodes in the keyboard solo was super sweet. Adrian Quesada nailed that guitar solo. He dropped two albums last year of trippy, funky, soulful instrumental jams, including the tracks "Starry Nights", "Fireflies", "Rise Of The Have-Nots", and "Noble Metals". The videos -- "visualizers" -- for those tracks are heavily psychedelic (and since they're recent the audio quality is great too!). 😎
Black Pumas is an amazing band. They just dropped a brand new single - More Than a Love Song. their new album is supposed to come out on Oct. 27th. Many have been waiting for this. While there are nothing short of excellent songs on the first album it would be cool if you reviewed the new single out.
