That's dope. curious if you've read this book. I found it really interesting around Cleveland history I wasn't that aware of. Not necessarily oriented quite in the way I would prefer, but very interesting stuff nonetheless www.chicagoreviewpress.com/ballots-and-bullets-products-9781641603119.php

This Dubois quote is worrisome considering how much these conditions have concretized and intensified

Interesting conversation. I may have missed it in the conversation but does the book talk about the continuity of the thesis in the black liberation struggle through RNA and the work of Dr. Mutulu Shakur, may he rest in peace and others and how it is moving today?

There's some reference to it in the preface if I recall, but this book is primarily interested in it within the CPUSA. And documents from CPUSA members related to the thesis. So not really related to it in terms of adoption and continuation of it within Revolutionary Nationalist circles like New Afrikan ones etc

I'd also say it was several years ago now but we do have an episode that deals a little more with the RNA and there's several others with conscious New Afrikans and so on but for more of a historical piece millennialsarekillingcapitalism.libsyn.com/free-the-land-edward-onaci-on-the-history-of-the-republic-of-new-afrika

Not that large segments of the youth are listening to the program; how will any of this material motivate Afrikan youth toward radicalization?

a great question to which we do not have the answer, obviously
