Like me if you love to have plants, I am sure watering them especially the hanging indoor plants must be a big task. Its not only work but also despite how careful you may be, you would end up with water or the dirt under them. In this video I share some simple hacks/tips on watering indoor plants especially when you have to go on a holiday or a vacation. Also do check out my fun watering experiment with plant soil.
Apart from the tricks and tips that you provide, you know what I absolutely love about you! - everything you do is so realistic. No jazz out there. The part where you show what has happened to the previously planted parts - the radish, carrot, methi etc ... you so truthfully show the reality. This helps me stay on the projects I start with you. There are other youtubers who show such jazzy, unrealistic updates that never ever work for common people like me. Then what i end up is feeling like a big failure and frustrated for that. So thank you Ekta! Please continue inspiring and teaching. Also, P.S - I love your voice and your attitude
The experiment really surprised me. It was such an innovative idea to validate the method. And so painstakingly done with timelapse and all. Thanks for inspiring us with your dedication!
Actually I can watch your videos for whole day without getting tired....I'm really obsessed with gardening after watching your channel! !!!❤😂👍👍

Omg.. It's very Interesting!! I am staying In hostel so can't keep more plants but i have 4 plants. I kept on my window. I bought succulent after watching your video. It's adorable.. Thankyou di.😘😘😘
Great tips...
One suggestion for the ice one is that you can place the ice cubes in a small t-shirt cloth (cut into small size) or as well in a small plastic bottle which can slowly drip the water into the pot and eventually the plants won't get a thermal shock...
Would love more such hacks!!!
Dear you have such a beautiful way of explaining everything in an easy way..I have started doing gardening more often now...keep it up

I love tbe idea with the cotton and water container. I usually use a slightly bigger pot (and without holes) than the one the plant is in and I put bottle caps on the botom to elevate the smaller pot so the water can leak out from the plant pot freely. This way the plant takes how much water it needs and also it prevents rothing.
You are the reason why I can practice gardening patiently.. me and my mom love your videos, you Inspire us to plant more.... Thank you...
LOTS OF LOVE FROM GOA...🌴
Thank you Deepa

Thank you! Love the idea of the fabric wick, and also the transparent trays for hanging plants! I love plants but I'm out of surface space, so hanging plants are the answer!! :)
To get nice roots in mint, I tried it in dark coloured bottles (the medicine bottles )where the light can't go inside, it helps the roots to grow faster

Hey this method works. We had gone to our hometown in February for 15 days and i was so worried about my plants. So I thought of trying out the wick method. We kept buckets and put in a lot of wicks to all the plants. When we came back, the whole bucket was dry and all my plants were alive
M inspired by your plant love and fell in love with gardening.
In last one year I made home garden. Now I have around 80 plants in my home😊. they give relaxing feel.
Please do suggest a site/ place from where I could buy ceramic pots for indoor plants.
Thanks a lot for sharing such simpler watering methods with us.
I water my indoor plants with ice cubes. It's a mess reducing idea. Also I keep the cubes away from the stem and aerial roots, if any.
I became a fan of u❤️ just starting to learn the science behind planting. 🌱
Namaste Madam to you for sharing the ideas. In this context I would like to draw your attention that keeping cut pet bottle filled with water will attract mosquitoes as such it may hatch larvae in the water. What I tried out is using capillary action as basic water distribution system we can use a close plastic food parcel container with lid holed on it and insert cotton cloth closing the lid. Further, keep one extra hole for air pressure on water inside the container. Thanks, have a cool gardening staying safe so be healthy.
I watched many of ur video and I found ur video one of the best video I watched ever😊😊😊
