I was born a Catholic but father cheated on my mother and a family of 6 when I was in the 2nd grade. I never had been back to church.. I fell into drugs and depression really bad. Eventually becoming an opiate addict for over a decade. I lost everything and everyone around me and would end up in prison. On my 1st day I was a complete mess. I cried out to God at the age of 35 and immediately was blinded for a few minutes. I felt the love of Jesus Christ and became a believer. It's been 10years and not 1 day goes by that I don't thank Jesus Christ for his grace and mercy. He reshaped and remolded me into a new creature in Christ. True Faith radiates true works just like the bright sun radiates heat. Matthew 25 shows how important a true faith. Not all who say Lord, Lord does the Father's will. James says faith without works is dead. Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are saved not BY good works, but FOR good works. Abraham not only believed God, he OBEYED God.
On the inverse side, Adam and Eve didn't lose Paradise because they only believed the serpent. They OBEYED the serpent to eat the fruit of the tree forbidden by God! St Ephraim the Syrian says the Tree of Life, God sunk into the the ground, and it reappeared on Calvary for us to enjoy its fruits!

What we do with our bodies is a reflection of what's in our hearts. Does not our Lord say we cannot serve two masters, but love one and hate the other? Will not just our souls, but even our bodies be resurrected at the Last Judgement? St John of Damascus tells us Our spiritual God became physical to save us who are physical. He assumed what He came to save!
So, all this Faith Alone stuff is not biblical. Protestantism tend to show its pseudo- gnostic views by focusing just on the Scriptural verses that concentrates on the spiritual, but ignore the "physical ones" at its own detriment. The Gospel is more than a head thing. It transforms everything in our lives: our thoughts, hearts, words and actions. It's the lifestyle the Lord gave us through His ancient Apostolic Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church.
Exactly, we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth alone but for the fact that we are still alive we must walk according to his words by his grace, that is good work which God has prepared for us to walk in them. You don't expect me to continue to live like I was before I gave my life to Christ. I must live holy and righteous life which is meant good works by his grace after I gave my life to Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Follow peace with everyone and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord.

O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about Allah except the truth.1 The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of Allah and the fulfilment of His Word through Mary and a spirit ˹created by a command˺ from Him.2 So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not say, “Trinity.” Stop!-for your own good. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son! To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs. As a muslim, this speech is full of false calims and plays on emotions rather than reality and logic .. for the following reasons:
1- Off course, you can't exactly follow what god wants from you; otherwise you will be an angel. In Islam we believe that only angels can fully adhere to god's law because they have no free well, they do what god tells them without even a second thought. But that doesn't mean you have nothing to do just because you are human and prone to mistakes!. Those who try their best to adhere to god's law even if they couldn't fully comply, is it fair to make them equal to those who doesn't try at all??. God knows we humans are not perfect, but god is just, and because he's just, he asked us to do (or not to do) certain things, so that we see from our own actions who’s the true believer and who just claims to be a believer and he's lying. So that on the day of judgment you can't say oh god why am I in hell ?! .. "“Read your record. You ˹alone˺ are sufficient this Day to take account of yourself.” Quran 17:14.
2- Muhammad (Pbuh) did not fail god's law. Actually we believe that he was the closest ever human being to perfectly adhere to god's law, but even he was not fully perfect, he was prone to some few minor mistakes (cause he's human after all), but he was not prone to major sins like steal, murder, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc. I don't see the relation between Muhammad’s death and failing god's law?, in fact he himself was saying what god told him .. "Every soul will taste death. Then to Us, you will be returned" َQuran 29:57. That includes both, Jesus and Muhammed.
3- Yes we believe that Isaa (Jesus) (pbuh) went up to heaven alive, but we do not believe that he will come back to judge the dead and the living, Only god Almighty can do that. We believe that Isaa (jesus) will return to spread peace in earth, after being filled with oppression and inequity.
4- Isaa (Jesus) being the word of god and the spirit god, doesn’t mean by anyway that he is a god or son of god, there is no relation at all. word of god and spirit of god means that he is a "relief" or "good news" from god to Jesus's people, to guide them to the right path. As for being the only prophet in the Quran to be referred as the word of god and spirit of god, this is because god is letting us know how dignified and honored Jesus was, but NOT to the extent that he was a god or son of god. It's god's business on whom he honors more than others among his prophets. For us, we have to treat all of them with respect and honor. "Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the Son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit...." Quran 2:253. So it's god honoring Jesus over other prophets, but that does not mean that he became a god!.
5- If Jesus (Pbuh) being born in a virginal birth is a sign that he is a god, then using the same logic, Adam (pbuh) would be a greater god, cause he came to existence without a father nor a mother. God supports his prophets with miracles to help them convince their people that they are messengers from god. it's not a sign that those prophets are gods!.
6- Let’s just say for the sake of argument that Jesus was son of god, let's just say that. Even though, Why would I worship the son and leave the father who created the son?!. doesn't god means powerful?, then logically i'll be worshiping the greater god which is the father! Cause he created Jesus, so clearly I should worship him and pray to him to seek his guidance and support! why would I worship the son who's clearly weaker than the father!.
At the end, Jesus (Pbuh) himself never claimed that he is a god or son of god, all he wanted from you is to worship the one and only true god, the creator of everything including Jesus himself, why is that hard to grasp?. We muslims don't want you to worship muhammed, actually we won't consider you as a muslim if you do so, just kneel to the creator of the universe, the one and only, the Magnificent, the supreme, the eternal, the true one god. How is it logical that someone died for my sins and I have no accountability anymore, and I can do whatever I want as long as I "accept Jesus as a god and savior". Does that makes sense to you? I really don't think so. It's not about who's right and who's wrong, just use your logic and common sense and be truthful to yourself, If you do that I promise you that god will guide you the true path. At the end remember, Mar Mari Emmanuel will not be in your grave when you die and face your god, and he will not be supporting you on the Day of Judgment, each one of us will face god alone to be judged for his own beliefs and actions. So be truthful to yourself and don't risk your soul, and be ready because on that day, you are truly on your own, not even Jesus or Muhammad can help you on that day, cause they did their role as messengers of god and they did deliver the full message of god. It’s now your choice to accept the message, reject it, or even twist it. So choose wisely.
