It's so cool, even as a day trip for a few hours. You are there in less than an hour from Palm Springs / Palm Desert. I was just reading about the history of the inn and the town right now.
@@FreddySherman Hey, I have not experienced a single road-closing because of snow. @ least, not in the 20yrs that I've lived here, in the valley just below it.
@@cloudsleyfalconbridge Cool. The last time I was up there, a few months ago, was the first time I was there after the fires. I was shocked at how barren the hills and mountains were, you could see so much more land. I hope things are recovering.
@@FreddySherman They are, but it won't be the same. I haven't been up there since the fires, but my friend, Tim, is a tree trimmer up there, and he sent me pictures, and it was heart-breaking, to say the least. Oh yeah, I forgot to sub. Up until now, that is Lol!
@@cloudsleyfalconbridge Thank you. I guess it's just part of the natural process of re-generation. It was just fascinating to see how far you could see, without the view blocked by trees.
Another great vid fred
Hey, thank you for watching them. GMC Yukon review coming later today.
Man Idyllwild is super close for me and yet I rarely go. Big bear is my mountain go to haha

@@FreddySherman wow that's great. I live only a few exits down from the Idyllwild exit lol
@@coolabrar10 Also cool to take the back way past Idyllwild to get to San Diego.
@@FreddySherman oh man that sounds like a very scenic drive
I love Idy. I hope it snows this week so we can head up the hill.
Very cool, I've never been up there during snow. Do they ever close the roads?
