I lived in Pine Cove for 15 years. I now live in the city and miss falling asleep to the sounds of crickets and owls instead of traffic, sirens, and police helicopters.
No idea why RUclips recommended this video, but watched it all and I was hooked how beautiful you talk with no ommmasss ummms - beautiful, nice edit! Thank you!
I lived literally at the state park when I was in high school my stepdad was the chief ranger there and they had houses that the families lived in so it was just a five minute walk into town. Lots of good memories.
I’ve noticed a lot of houses for sale on Zillow. Is this normal? I read maybe it’s because of the fire insurance. Sorry for the silly question, we visited yesterday but loved it. Definitely a town that doesn’t want to grow too fast. Love the charm of it.
The Idyllwild market is softening. The prices are coming down and I feel it's because of the short term rental moratorium. They now have a cap on the city which was needed. For that reason, investors are now looking elsewhere since they are limited in Idyllwild. It's a great time to get a good deal on something with so many homes sitting on the market for a while.
It is beautiful, and my favorite thing is the honorary town mayor is a dog. My favorite podcaster visited last year and mentioned that. Say no more, you have my heart! It is so scenic too
Hey Brandy, This town looks like where I live here in the forest. Sounds like a place I need to check out especially with the art and music......I'm sending you a pigeon carrier girl......ha ha Happy Halloween !!👻👻👻
@@BrandyValentineRealEstate I will we have big one's up here too. That was a cute addition to the pigeon carrier you clever girl......Hmmmm but seriously this may be the answer to what I'm gonna do during the summer months.. I like the snow in the winter. It will remind me of Vancouver kind a sort of.
A highlight for our family staycation here is the food, for a small town, it punches WAY above it's weight class. Only issue is when baked good get sold out and indoor seating is limited in most places during cold months.
Plans to clear cut the forest and bulldoze flat more land for development of multistory condos is moving forward. Migrant tent housing is planed for summer
The nice part about Idyllwild is that it’s in California, so you don’t run into too many ignorant magas there. So many ppl send their kids or go with families from all over CA to summer camps there, so that town has built up a nice progressive atmosphere which is unique for a mountain town. ❤

Not too late to come back! ;)

Love this! I didn’t know that.
I go to school there
@@younisonyogaandmusicbykai6934 really? Would love to know more about what that is like. 😊
There is the Fairview market, and the Village market, that was not mentioned!
It doesn't take an hour to get to a grocery store off the hill. Stater Bros on New Chicago is 25-30 minutes away. Depending on how you drive.
it looks stunning
Right!?

Agreed! The homemade baked goods are so good but if you’re late, they’re gone! Best to make a quick stop in the early AM. 😋
I wasn’t expecting this advertisement to come up. Looks like a rustic nature getaway!
It truly is! 😍🌲
Between the disappearances and the commentary on Reddit, something weird is going on there
If you’re curious I can do a video. Would just need to make sure I can since I’m a realtor
Great video and very informative. I have to say- you're one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen= great eyes. Thanks for the vid.

Not sure where you’re getting this information but it’s highly inaccurate.
Many people have gone missing up there talk around town its a serial killer !
Witches and worlocks?
So what's the bad and ugly or is that a clickbait title?
No bears. It’s a bummer
I believe I went over the cons…
