The late, great Alvin Lee. The man who played faster than his shadow. When Alvin was on, mercy, his finger speed was almost unbelievable at times. One of the all-time great guitarists of anyone's era, IMO.
stefan ~ l've seen the series a few years ago on line, and now l always come back to it to re watch!! YOU will too!!! Dontcha think its about time? Been 11 months for you....
All these kids still have their baby teeth and NO grey hair! They had their WHOLE LIVES to go! Haahaha! Rick cant keep himself together when there's ONE girl talking to him!! He's all shy, blinky eyes, 'n blush faced! Just _adorable_ Wakey!!! xD
I am such a left-handed drummer that I did not even notice that Tony was left handed until Ian joined the stage!! 😂Fantastic show as always Mr. Wakeman!

Steve Hackett on ... harmonica? With Suzi Quattro? LOL! Rick has always been a funny guy, and this show is great!
I absolutely can not believe I have never heard of this show. What a fantastic series. I have not been so excited to watch anything in awhile.

Why Wakeman didn’t get more credit for this series I’ll never know. There’s a great triple-disc set of some of this available.Great stuff!!

Thank you Rick. I watched every episode at the time. It’s great to re-acquaint myself with these episodes.
Far better than later with......, they should make a new series.
It´s like Bill Bruford once said: The only blue note Wakeman ever played was in the solo of Roundabout.
While everybody else was watching MTV, this was happening...
Lonnie ~ Unreal huh? Thank goodness Wakey put them up on his channel!!! We probably would never see them again if he hadn't! ;)
Alistair magowen on drums
Rick Derringer wished he looked as good as Suzi!!!
