Better atmosphere than our last two F.A cup finals, more tickets for supporters and less corporate means a better match atmosphere. Great support from both clubs, 1st half was all Sunderland but once we took off Curtis it was all Pompey. Curtis can be a match winner but teams know how to stop him and he's not fully capable with that injury anyway. With Evans on we were knocking the ball around and looking more and more dangerous. Never seen Pitman run so much either! The prestige of this trophy is small, but the occasion was big yesterday.

Jamal Lowe what a star, credit to whole squad for digging in and coming back in style to win. Must admit Ollie Hawkins taking the 5th penalty had me very worried, but he delivered the goods to win the trophy.
It should’ve been Brett the Hitman to take it (the last pen)
When we were watching (were I sat it was mental) everybody was worried and saying “hell miss this”

I was there!!! what a performance from the lads. Fantastic result and great day out (apart from the dreadful traffic jams - 4.5hrs to get home to Pompey on a coach!!). I want to forget the first half - but after that Pompey were superior in all respects. If only they had held on to the 2-1 score line - oh well. A nail biting penalty finish to cap a memorable match. Well done Pompey.
Train in and out of Wembley is the best way. Home to Droxford by 19.15.

Sunderland were fantastic in the first half, full credit to them they should have been out of sight by half time.
We were a completely different side after about 55 minutes. Sunderland barely got a look in after that. Evans and Hawkins made a huge difference, and Walkes looked sharp when he came on. On the balance of play, I think we deserved the result in the end.
What the hell was Pitman on though? At least twice he outran Lowe to the ball! Did he have a leg transplant with a gazelle?
James Bennett. I was amazed the amount of pitch Pitman covered, 90 minutes and extra time, he’ll be knackered for a few days haha. Evans made a hell of a difference when he came on. PUPPPU
