I bought the exhibition finish nickel version ~ and it's a great piece of workmanship: handsome, powerful, accurate, well-balanced. I also bought extra cartridges and a holster. My air gun collection comprises over 20 pistols & rifles; the Webley Mk.VI is a top favourite. Best...

Fully agree with this great review. I went to my local gun shop with the intention of buying the pellet version mainly due to less ricochets than the BB gun, but they had the black finish BB gun on offer at £130, reduced from £185, so I simply couldn't justify a further £70 to buy the pellet version. Anyway, I've not regretted it, a beautifully finished pistol, as you say, an excellent trigger and a joy to shoot, very accurate over the 10 metre range at my local airgun club, with quite a crack when fired. I'm not necessarily a fan of revolvers, (I do like my 1911's and Glocks), but this has tempted me over to the dark side and I may be looking at a Schofield perhaps................

Still expensive in 2020 lockdown but still looks a ' classic among classics ' 👍

Great review of a stonking pistol, am hoping to pick one up before xmas. I am more interested in semi autos, the dan wessons did nothing for me ... but this is in a different league. Probably won't ever be fired, just fitted with a lanyard and put in a holster .... iconic .... hopefully the start of some real innovation in replicas .... I love my 1911s but there's a limit to how many times you can serve up the same old gun !!!

I brought the 6 inch in pellet. 22,i got the other 2 barrel lengths I think it's a great experience to use, it's never going to be a target gun, but back garden plincker,, absolutely, only thing is the 6 and 4 inch are not pellet fussy, the 2.5 is can't understand that, I will persever, part of our sport

Finally got my hands on one. The real Webley co2 revolver is hard to find here in the states. I got the weathered version, 6mm airsoft made by Wingun. It is very good quality and Licensed by Webley. It has no safety. Comes in the same box and same paperwork. $150 US. Some people think these guns are ugly. Not me...I love it. I also have a S&W Schofield #3 which breaks open the same way. Two of my favorite revolvers.

I like the Schofield, sadly here in the UK we are quite restricted in the firearms we can buy, so CO2 guns are the way to go. I do like these "break open" revolvers and yes, I think the Schofield may be my next purchase, they do seem a lot cheaper in the US, probably down to how goods are taxed between the two countrys, either that, or they take us for more money over here lol!!!

Bugger that safety switch, I just bought the battlefield finish model and the first thing I'm doing is taking a black paint pen to those red and white safety indicators.

Hello! Thanks for your video! I own one exemplar in 6mms and I am satisfied with it. Yet yesterday its trigger did not came back in all its way after some shoots and since then it is only working on single action ''mode''. Please tell me how to disassemble it and if you also know, inform me about where can I get parts for it. 1000 thanks in advance!!

    Why a safety,...ask Webley's Lawyers!
On the lanyard ring,..it's part of the screw to puncture and seat the C02 cylinder in place,..so I doubt that a plastic ring would be very good here, do you?

Is the barrel release spring under the lever, stiff enough to avoid casual opening by mistake ?

I was a bit disappointed that the shells won't fit in Dan Wesson and vice versa, but I was annoyed that they weren't .455.
They would make guns with all interchangeable shells or give them the cartridge they were designed for to be more realistic.

No. You need an airgun certificate here which is much easier to get. Thanks for the fake news.

It looks nice but I see a lot of differences in markings between what I saw there and the original .455 Webley I have in my lap at the moment. The most obvious thing is that there are no proof marks.
    Do you have the weight?
Is it made out of real steel or out of zinc pot metal?
    How much is it?
So how well does it shoot?
How much are additional "cartridges" that you stick the BB into?

The hammer on the replica does not sit fully closed. That is my only gripe with it which would make me hesitate about buying one. Now if you can tell me that the original is the same....

    • @thelaughinghyenas7962
      @thelaughinghyenas7962 8 лет назад

      Burt ForMich ,
I pulled mine out and have it in my lap again. Yes, they don't fully close the hammer. That does look like about the right amount they are open. I think it's a part of the internal safety so they don't go off if you have the hammer over a live round and something hits it.
I just hope the trigger pull is less horrible. These guys are a BEAST in double action. They say it's only 15 pounds but I think it's more like 25 and 10 in single action.

They were trained to hold them constantly away from them selves because when the gun was cocked the hammer could drop my accident the Webley was known for it
