Interesting way of doing it... looks like you manual for a bit and then move your weight forward. I always learned to use your front tire as suspension by pushing it into the ground before lifting it. Then moving my weight forward and push the bike forward, all in 1 quick movement. Not sure how high you could possibly jump with your technique but it's definitly different🤷🏼‍♀️💯

Not high. But how do you push the front wheel into the ground and then bring your weight forward to get the front wheel off the ground?

      Lift then push foward

Excellent video, hopping is the one skill I just don’t seem to be able to improve. I’m looking forward to trying your method. Your bike looks super nice, what brand is it ?

This video doesn't explain what he's doing correctly or show it well

What are the advantages/disadvantages of using this method compared to a bunny hop with both wheels off the ground at the same time? I've been practicing by laying a stick between 2 rocks and trying to jump it at speed. It's all quickly shifting my weight to the back and to the front. Front tire leaves the ground first, then the back tire pops up before the front wheel hits the ground.

with Coach Brandon's technique you will be able to clear taller barriers and maybe even eventually two in a row.
