I imagine it worked on some boss in the past (crouchwalking around on Tree Sentinel’s, is it left side where they’re blind and using poison mist comes to mind), and so now they try mimic veil then all that on every boss just in case they have the next big cheese
Using stealth effects to sneak into boss rooms is a old souls trick lol, I know it worked for some in ds1-3 and I know it works on the crucible knight tag team, I don’t do it but I know it works on them

There was a cheese strat for him? Maybe it's bcuz ive only just recently watched someone play through the original and the remake of the game but i feel those games r the easiest of the souls games. This shitty excuse for boss design deserves every bit of this stank cheese. There are plenty of videos on RUclips showing how this boss cheats to artificially create difficulty. Fuck the DLC, it was nothing but a money grab

Notably, this only works on the current version, as he won't die on the previous one. Also, if the pots actually hit him, he'll attack you. The trickiest part of this cheese is aiming correctly.
I was doing this trick, 2 poison pots were not enough, so I had to use 4 to get to the second stage. however when I did get to the second stage, whenever radahn goes back to the stairs, instead of dying he just disappears and stays alive and doesn't die nor come back
Another thing that happened that could instantly kill Radahn, I was summoned along another guy to fight Leda and Allies, we won and we started heading to Radahn. I started getting my tank build ready and while we’re walking up the stairs a message shows on screen “God Slain” and we were sent back to our worlds. I’ve heard of people experiencing this but never knew how it happened

just saying for anyone seeing this now, they tried to patch it but when he goes into the wall you now have to go into the back left corner to make him fall
This was patched somewhat; so phase 2 you run away after he starts moving away from you and starts disappearing - then immediately turn back and run towards him while he’s spamming attacks. With a shield, obviously, one with high holy protection. Sometimes he gets stuck too far to the right, so you bait him by standing off to the left of the stairs until he dies. Or in my case, he just died right when I started running at him and I had used a physick for damage protection. Easy fight but he can also become unstuck and immediately punish 😂
Nice to know my knowledge is getting around. I mentioned a few weeks back when the dlc came out, that if you stack unseen form with assassins gambit, you will remain undetected for maybe 20 seconds for this boss and it'll give you time to summon and buff up. As for the mimic veil, that wasn't included in my strategy. Sadly, youtube has removed several comments of mine and some for no reason, so I can't tell you which video it was that I mentioned it on.

I agree with the map thing, i recently replayed totk and forgot about the dragon tear locations, so instead of searching for hours i got a map, it was still difficult but not as difficult, no shame in needing something, having the source to get it, and not using the source, it exists for a reason
This has been patched, however, I got it to work one time on my arc build, do everything in this video but instead of staying in the veil in 2nd phase, right when CR turns around,run to the fog wall and crouch and face it, it’s very finicky but he did end up dropping through the level one time for me
My first Radahn kill in the dlc was from a bug and it was incredibly confusing. He died from the phase change as i died and when i went back it just gave me the remembrance and said have a nice day
You never saw the bell bearings at where he is? Then buy it from the Maiden after giving her his bell. It will be sold then at the round table. If you haven't done it. Radahn with maybe just a Mimic tear is easier. Ansbach and Thollier just make the fight so much harder, and unmanageable due to his absurd health/resistance. I tried my best to beat him with Ansbach more due to the fact Ansbach is the man. I couldn't do it! Let alone have Ansbach survive! Save the mimic for second phase.

You can walk right behind him and just use poisen incantations need to know home many times to use it before you walk away and hide. Mine is was five +6 gameplay
There’s an even bigger glitch that makes you skip the fight entirely but gives you all the rewards. Apparently going up the lift, after beating the group fight with coop players causes it. We were super sad we didn’t get to enjoy the fight.
The mimic Vail turns you into whatever item seems to fit the area best. It seems all too fitting you become a small golden tree that looks like it was picked from the same place you find the braid.

The funny thing is something similar happens in seamless coop sometimes where he'll randomly decide to warp into the wall to the right and if youre lucky he'll eventually kill himself lmao though he's aggro the entire time. It literally just happened to me in game lol

not a glitch, just makes it to where bosses can't see you. Can be done with a good number of bosses in the game including Bayle where you can get behind and poison them to death.
This no longer works on the PS5 as of the 1.14 patch. One, it's extremely difficult to sneak around Radahn. Then you got to throw the rot pots at him. And finally you have to activate the mimic veil BEFORE phase 2 starts up. I did all of that and Radgan glitched out, but I didn't receive the victory. It seems I got stuck in phase 2. Radhan's health bar was present even after several minutes.
THIS is the real definition of cheese. Fighting with a strong build and with tools given by the game is a thing, winning without fighting like this video is another. I appreciate the creativity of this method
Well fun for an ng cycle, but the fun in these bosses is learning them and seeing your own progress and finally beating them. Sure, you can "let me solo" summon them or cheese them, but it kinda defeats the whole gameplay experience. People sometimes sternly ignore the gameplay offering of "here are 200 weapons and 10000 possible builds, just try what happens if on the boss"; Granted, you need some experience with the game, but once you grasped the depth of the systems you can tinker with, it becomes so mich fun 😊

I was finally on time for one of these! I missed out on all the crazy weapons but I was able to defeat radahn with this one.

Its so cheezy that even the boss realized how cheezy it is and proceeded to execute himself.

Well fun for an ng cycle, but the fun in these bosses is learning them and seeing your own progress and finally beating them. Sure, you can "let me solo" summon them or cheese them, but it kinda defeats the whole gameplay experience. People sometimes sternly ignore the gameplay offering of "here are 200 weapons and 10000 possible builds, just try what happens if on the boss"; Granted, you need some experience with the game, but once you grasped the depth of the systems you can tinker with, it becomes so mich fun 😊
