and with this method your headphones will last about half their normal lifespan .....this looks cool and keeps them neat but I am a sound guy and those tight wraps are going to put shorts in the wire ................people who know sound and audio coil cables and take great pains to avoid kinks knots or tight bends in our lines and cables since when they start sounding static-y and shorting out we have to repair ( huge pain in the ass) or replace ( huge expense) them ..................I keep my earbuds loosely coiled in a small cloth pouch in my pocket
+SickOfTheStupid I buy that.... But... When your earbuds are all tangled, thats when you get bad kinks in them. As you pull them out of mess is when theyll get a knot in them and then kink real bad. This way, the bends in the cord are minimized and not the type that destroy your earbuds. I also did this with an old pair with the round wires. Most people, including myself, use the ones with a flat cord now and this technique works even better with them. But yes, no matter the technique, you dont want it to be too tight. It will eventually weaken the wires.
This is a awesome way. I be honest it took me a few times. But my ear buds have been in tangles in my drawer. Any one below who complains don't watch it. Be kind. He trying to help us. Hugs
The figure 8 technique is much faster to wrap and unrwaps with two fingers using gravity alone. Not as tidy as this, but as long as you're not keeping your buds in a big compartment in your bag with a bunch of other cables and things, it doesn't need to be as kempt as you'd want a climbing rope to be.
While this is such a cool way to wrap up earbuds to store them until you need them again, how would you suggest keeping the "slack " out of them "while" wearing them around your neck when listening to your tunes, "or whatever" ? I'm always fighting so much slack while wearing them !
I recommend using the 4 finger way and when you try to twist the cord in a circle to secure ur earphones by making sure to pinch both sides before taking it out and flipping it;: 2x more easier but other then that great tutorial!
No it's like that so if you need to quickly get your earbuds there already like that so you just pull it apart real quick then take like 15 seconds to put em back
I couldn't get this to work with my single earbud. Does this technique need the kind of earbud with 2 earpieces to work? I tried this on my earbud that has only 1 earpiece/speaker, and it didn't look anywhere near as good as yours turned out, and sadly, it fell apart.
The only thing I wold change abt this is when ur done wrapping it around ur fingers instead of putting it through the bottom u shold take it off and turn it into a sideways 8 and finish it off that way it’s way easier
Nah... Don't mind bout those guys below my comment...... U actually made me happy in this kinda way that.....was amazing 👏 😎.... Anyhow thanks man for this demonstration....and keep up with the new things 😇
No?? If you take 15-30 seconds at the beginning of the day doing it then later you can quickly just pull it apart faster then a tangled mess. Then when your done, say your walking to your next meeting or class you just do it while walking
@@ChrisPBacon1434 I've never tried this method, but did find a simple way that never leaves them tangled. Mine always go in a tiny case (a metal Altoid tin is the perfect size to toss in a book bag), so I don't need them quite as tight as this wrap appears to leave them, and couldn't see this method working for braided cables or IEMs with the wrap around ear cable. (I'd be surprised if there'd be any wrap that would work for IEMs with thick, wrap around the ear, braided cables, without a case. The simple wrap I use works for both buds and IEMs.) I appreciate the comment, but I'm sticking with a simpler wrap and a metal Altoid tin.
Do you think I have time for that while running late for class??
Robert Rosenberger lol same
Being a minute later for class than you were going to probably won't make a huge difference.
How about you _not be late_ for class? Way more convenient.
I usually just wrap them around my hand and just shove them in my pocket hahah. Definitely going to use this! Awesome video!!
This just made my earphones more tangled
LMFAO I just tangled them even more 🖕
LOL me too
Beckyyy well you just failed lol
Beckyyy did he say anything about that?
Exactly
Beckyyy me to
How did I just find this now?? Handsome guy and advice I wish I had in high school 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

No doubt when I started playing guitar my teacher would go off when I would wrap my cord up tight, didn't take long to know why

+Tony D. I will still use it .bet I wrapped up my earbuds half a dozen times today anyway 👽
i agree.. my earbud's cable's is very stiff and doing this will just break them.
@@bradbeining3341 Yeah that's so cool and then they'll break! That's so awesome!
Stupid.

Truly helpful! One of the best videos I've seen on earbud wrapping. Thanks!
Nice tidy wrap Tony. I normally use a figure eight around my pinky and thumb and its always tangle free but not as tidy. I'll have to try this.

thank you, now my headphones won’t keep unravelling and getting tangled
mucho gracias

And if you’re bad at making things stay together?
I could have untangled my headphones in the time it took me to do this.
Kane Smith tru

Thanks 4 the tip im lookin for ways to take care of my headset
the most fucking method.
Wouldn’t this ruin the earbuds wires though?
This is a gem! Thank you😊✨

What is the best way of taking it apart or just reverse unwind it?

Can you remake showing how to untie it?
Nah... Don't mind bout those guys below my comment...... U actually made me happy in this kinda way that.....was amazing 👏 😎.... Anyhow thanks man for this demonstration....and keep up with the new things 😇
why not just wrap them round an old plastic card?
Takes me longer to do this than to untangle my headphones lol
You can do this without the extra long loop. Works the same.
unnecessarily complicated
I just got some new Earphones I aint tryna mess em up xD
thanks bro, u helped me a lot.
Thanks, worked wonders
Dear, this doesn't need rocket science.... simply wrap them around three fingers and use a very small hair clip where the ends cross.
Permanent sol plz make video for daily earphone users 💯
How to properly untangle? I tried untangling and it was a mess...
does this method really take 2 minutes?
like 10 seconds.
This makes more tangled
Help me with a avid AE-54 how to put the wires like this
better to deal with the tangle than making this
My earphones are tangled on my fingers now
Great tip. Thanks
How To Unwrap It?
Just loosen and pull the earbuds out.
With all the icons on ur computer u should make , T.D
lol i laughed hard
Mine didn't look that good, but it worked. (With many, many rewinds)
This actually help thanks 😊
By doing this all the time it could cause the wirings inside to break.
meant for rope not headphones
It's cool and all but the earbuds come out too long and it always takes like a full minute to undo them
There are far simpler methods than that, and as others have pointed out, untangling tangled cords would take less time than wrapping like that.

@@162534283746 try a figure 8 wrap
@@fuu5121 That's what I use, and then pop 'em in an empty Altoids tin (perfect size, tight seal, and metal).
Everyone uses Bluetooth these days. I just gave away my last wired earbuds to a friend in Vietnam
this is nice
Worked out great! Thanks
Awesome....
Well lost two pairs of headphones trying to do this and still can’t do it
This does not work my headphones just got more tangled
We won't be having all the day to wrap
this helped, thank you!!
It did not help mines
that was cool!!
Thanks helps so much 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
It was too good thanksgiving for
tht
i messed up and now my hands are tied together....
lol
I love this
THX
this ruins your headphones. the wires strech.
It doesn't work with asymmetric headphones *cry*
LOL... I never thought about that.
Commando Designs would be awesome if you found a way for them, too ;3
I must be a dimwit this was so hard so in the end I gave up
The author thinks this is "simple"? I think we just got trolled.
This is slow, awkward, and looks extremely hard to untangle.
cool
Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Worst ever! Made my earbuds tangle soooo much
I dont know what i did anyways thx😂😂
all this did was tangle my headphones
Aint nobody got time for that
What the fuck? Edit: how are you supposed to remember that no one takes that much times to tie somthing
Noice
Dude, no. There is WAY easier ways to do this.
Too complicated too time consuming plus there is a difference between rope and headphones they will damage quickly
most people dont have time for this
Bruh, no offense but who has that much time on their hands?
To complicated
So fuckin hat to do the
i understood nothing :( thx for nothing
Hard
This is too hard.
This made it wores
first
im definitely going to use this
Baby I love you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That was horrible.
