Louet really should pay you a commission on all Spring sales! So glad to find your great videos - it's very disappointing that Louet provides NO videos on their site as they really should. It's wonderful that you've shared this info with us!
thank you so much for your videos. The details you provide are amazing. I became interested in weaving during the Covid but could not find the info needed to begin until I found your channel. Not only am I a beginning weaver, I built my own floor loom as I am on retirement income and did not want the financial outgo. Although I am getting to the point that I would feel comfortable weaving an actual piece now, your videos are helping me understand how to build into my loom the tensioning needed for proper weaving.
The texsolve cords worried me since I had a dachshund at the time who would chew on cords near the floor. Lost a pre lit Christmas tree that way. So I went the jack route several years ago. Still enjoyed the demo.
I subscribed to your channel years ago. I don't own a loom, and am looking for an Ashford table loom. I've been weaving at our local weaving studio. Covid-19 mixed the schedule totally this year, so I was only able to finish my curtains on the Toika Liisa floor loom in mid-July. After that, I started watching your weaving videos from the start, since I haven't been able to watch them for five years due to the patient advocacy charity I started in 2015. Now I've watched all your weaving videos! I love them, and will go on watching them. You are very clear and methodical in your weaving and videos. An engineer like me appreciates that. Thankyou for showing us how you weave! Marianne in Northern Finland
Very informative - thanks so much. I used to have a David, but it wasn’t sturdy enough to make rugs - can you make rugs on the spring? If you can I might have to start saving for one. I did love my David so much, but I only have space for one loom, so it has to do it all.

Thank you for the kind comment. Maybe you could whisper into Louet's ear about that commission. ;)

The close-up views of your weaving show how beautifully you weave. So even and consistent, it’s just beautiful!
Thank you
Thank you and thank you to the person who asked about your spring loom.
So very helpful! My engineer brain is very intrigued with this loom even more now!
Thanks Andy! Very informative! Showing the side view against dark jeans made a good contrast to help us see the action.

Thanks for this video! I have been wanting a Spring for a while now, now I want it even more.
Springs are expensive looms, but do such a great job.
Im trying to choose between a spring and a david. I like the sliding beater on a david but really want the 110 width
@@lizkimber never having even seen a david, I can not offer any help in your decision making process
Thanks Andy !

Have you seen the new Spring 2?
Yes, I have.
Thank you, great video, never knew that.
Thanks that was fascinating.
