Good video, I like the battery powered vac pumps. Haven't tried one yet but seem like they can get the job done atleast the Navac does. Anyways good Video! What editing program do you use WildWest ?
Pulling down to below 500 µm is not that important part. It’s when you shut off the vacuum pump and valve it off how high does the vacuum decay point. If you pull it down to 300 µm turn off the vacuum pump valve it off and it decays to 1800 µm you still have a very wet system. And if you were doing freezer refrigeration instead of residential medium temp you would not want your vacuum to decay above 200 µm. Good video showing a alternative battery powered vacuum pump I was looking at those vacuum pumps almost 10 years ago they were available overseas.
yes very true. valving off is the important part of vacuum process. all i wanted to do was make a quick demonstration video. to be honest i really dont use this pump at all. its more of a back up for me. thanks for watching the video!
I have tried all the battery Vacuum pumps over the last year. Mikita was not my favourite. Here is why: (1) Only has single stage vacuum cartridge, i work in HVAC Refrigeration and 2 stage is a must have to do the job properly. (2) It has no solenoid isolation valve, so if your not sitting with you hand on the valve ready to shut it off when the battery runs out you loose your vacuum. (3) It has a very poor exhaust filter and seems discharge a lot of oil vapour. (4) only lasts a maximum of 40 minutes with a fresh battery, Other pumps I have last 60 minutes. Overall the pump does not feel worthy of a HVAC technician. Only cordless vacuum pumps that are worthy are Javac CDC-30 and Wipcool fast series.
@@Heavy_metal_rulez yea they dont have the overheating protection like the makita batteries do I put it on charge for like 20 minutes and come back and it was literally on fire with a flame a foot in the air ...I only charged it twice and second time it would have no doubt caught the house on fire if I would have left and come back I never had a battery do that it ain't worth saving the money on the cheap battery cuz it about cost me hundreds of thousands oj a house for trying to save 40 bucks on a knockoff.. u get what u pay for
