Bull. God always asks people to admit of their wrongdoing and to engage in introspection. Adam and Eve failed in that regard. Had they admitted their failure and repented all would have been set right.
God didn’t trap them. All He asked that they respect His property, that which was His own and to which they had to right. It’s His garden not theirs. Their purpose was to serve its needs and preserve it and they failed.
