The Blood of Jesus is the only way for my sins to be washed away. I, like Paul, sin again and again even though I don't want to do so. Fortunately I see that I do sin less than I used to because the more I read God's Word and talk to him in prayer about it, The more i have to work on not sinning in other ways too. Here’s an example of the importance of listening carefully; because I heard him quote a verse of Scripture that I had never heard before, and it was confusing. He quoted 2 Peter 3 versus 10 through 12, and it was in vs 12 that seemed very mysterious, and caused me to use my imagination to try and ponder it’s meaning; “ But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved within 10 feet.” But why within 10 feet ? Mysterious indeed, and use your imagination of what that might look like, because I found it difficult ? But after some research, I discovered that I had misheard, and this is what it really said, “the elements will be dissolved with intense heat.”
Thank you dear Lord for taking my sinful life and forgiving me of my sins, by doing the ultimate sacrifice and going on that Cross for my sins and everyone else’s dying + then resurrecting on the 3rd day! You are in Heaven now as we anxiously wait for your return and meet you in the sky to be with you forever and returning with you on your second coming one day! I selfishly seem to be wanting to be involved with the Rapture with you but I know that if I die before it happens my soul will still go to heaven and return with you on the rapture to receive my glorious body then. I understand where you’re coming from, because I have the same thoughts. And I suppose you could look at it, as being selfish, and say that it doesn’t matter because we win either way. But that’s not entirely accurate either, because like probably most or at least many believers, it’s not death that we fear, but the process of dying, and the odds are slim of anyone getting out of this world gracefully, without going through some form of pain and suffering, as well as it being intense and prolonged. And so the Rapture would completely bypass that discomfort. But in addition to that, and more importantly, for those who will be blessed by experiencing the reality, of being transformed instantly, in the twinkle of an eye, with a Supernatural Physical/Spiritual body, while at the same time, being caught up into the clouds, to meet the Lord, as well as our loved family members, friends, and countless numbers, of everyone who had ever lived who were part of God’s family. And who had already been with the Lord, but the remains of what had been their earthly bodies will have been Resurrected and also transformed into their new Supernatural Physical / Spiritual bodies. And I can understand why a lot of people don’t believe it, because it sounds so incredibly miraculous and fantastic that it doesn’t seem that it would be possible. And speaking for myself, I can’t get my mind wrapped around being able to even imagine what it would be like to experience the reality of it. And maybe or probably, more likely I won’t, be that fortunate, because what are the odds, of all the people who have ever lived, that this would be the generation to see the Lord return?
Every one of us filled with our Father's Spirit feel this SAME, EXACT WAY! Hallelujah! I can't wait to finally see and love and HUG my dear Lord Jesus! I guess there's going to be a LONG line for us! God's children are said to be sleeping after death, when our souls go to heaven to wait for the rapture, when everyone will get their glorified bodies! Here’s an example of the importance of listening carefully; because I heard him quote a verse of Scripture that I had never heard before, and it was confusing. He quoted 2 Peter 3 versus 10 through 12, and it was in vs 12 that seemed very mysterious, and caused me to use my imagination to try and ponder it’s meaning; “ But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved within 10 feet.”
But why within 10 feet ? Mysterious indeed, and use your imagination of what that might look like, because I found it difficult ? But after some research, I discovered that I had misheard, and this is what it really said, “the elements will be dissolved with intense heat.”
No one thought that was funny huh, I did. I didn’t make the story up, so I have to laugh occasionally at my own humorous stupidity.
Thank you dear Lord for taking my sinful life and forgiving me of my sins, by doing the ultimate sacrifice and going on that Cross for my sins and everyone else’s dying + then resurrecting on the 3rd day! You are in Heaven now as we anxiously wait for your return and meet you in the sky to be with you forever and returning with you on your second coming one day! I selfishly seem to be wanting to be involved with the Rapture with you but I know that if I die before it happens my soul will still go to heaven and return with you on the rapture to receive my glorious body then. We win either way from forgiveness of our sins. I love to focus on heaven everyday Lord like you said to do because it’s truly one remarkable thing to look forward to receiving your precious gift of life everlasting to be celebrated with you and to honor you for the rest of the days which will be forever and ever! I understand where you’re coming from, because I have the same thoughts. And I suppose you could look at it, as being selfish, and say that it doesn’t matter because we win either way. But that’s not entirely accurate either, because like probably most or at least many believers, it’s not death that we fear, but the process of dying, and the odds are slim of anyone getting out of this world gracefully, without going through some form of pain and suffering, as well as it being intense and prolonged.
And so the Rapture would completely bypass that discomfort. But in addition to that, and more importantly, for those who will be blessed by experiencing the reality, of being transformed instantly, in the twinkle of an eye, with a Supernatural Physical/Spiritual
body, while at the same time, being caught up into the clouds, to meet the Lord, as well as our loved family members, friends, and countless numbers, of everyone who had ever lived who were part of God’s family. And who had already been with the Lord, but the remains of what had been their earthly bodies will have been Resurrected and also transformed into their new Supernatural Physical / Spiritual bodies. And I can understand why a lot of people don’t believe it, because it sounds so incredibly miraculous and fantastic that it doesn’t seem that it would be possible. And speaking for myself, I can’t get my mind wrapped around being able to even imagine what it would be like to experience the reality of it. And maybe or probably, more likely I won’t, be that fortunate, because what are the odds, of all the people who have ever lived, that this would be the generation to see the Lord return?
Every one of us filled with our Father's Spirit feel this SAME, EXACT WAY! Hallelujah! I can't wait to finally see and love and HUG my dear Lord Jesus! I guess there's going to be a LONG line for us! Lol! He's so worth it. I'll wait in any line that I have to, just to fall before Him, to worship, praise, and love Him. Be ready! OUR KING IS COMING! Come Lord Jesus!

God's children are said to be sleeping after death, when our souls go to heaven to wait for the rapture, when everyone will get their glorified bodies! The sleeping will get theirs first, and those of us still alive will then be transformed in the twinkle of an eye and be snatched up to meet the Lord in the clouds. We will all be taken to heaven to be protected from God's wrath for the 7 year tribulation period.
The "dead" are the lost, whose souls go to sheol/Hades/hell to wait until the great white throne judgement of Jesus Christ, which will happen after the millennial kingdom reign of Christ.
