That is the most beautiful house I’ve seen built in the Philippines 🇵🇭 great landscaping wow !!!!
I am floored by how well this build came out...A masterpiece throughout!
Thanks James...What a tour!
I'm sure there'll be many good times happening going forward...
🙏🙏🙏
👍😎👍
Wow I'm really impressed with this home build. Great drone footage as well. Looking forward to the next home build series.
I agree it was well thought out and executed. The property was also well Landscaped and cleanly done.
Good day James. Just 2 more weeks and I'll be back home to the Philippines 🇵🇭. I can't wait.
Hands down James this is the most amazing home build/tour you have done at least for me. Willy is certainly a accomplished individual. Kudos to him and his family.
Very well designed American style home. Elegant design with a very nice landscape. The contractor did a great job.
Beautiful. Thanks, James.
Thanks for showing all this homes being build in the Philippines.
Very Nice house and very good job from Romeo and his team, very inspiring
Just an incredibly beautiful home! So many high-end finishes definitely set it apart.
Very nice home! Good accomplishment mr Mendoza,,hard work does pay off !
Beautiful. What a great job of Design, Construction and interior and exterior finishes. Gives me alot of ideas for our build.
Impeccable build! congrats to the owners.
WHAT A HUGE HOUSE AWESOME SUCH A BIG LOT LOTS OF WORK TO DO
Very nice
Hello James.
Thanks for the t-shirt. My son loves it.
That's awesome! Very welcome.
beautiful home. Great content.
Good morning James from , Melbourne, Australia. Thank"S for the video. Well what a spectacular house. Amazing design , buiders and work force. I wonder if all that equipment in the house was imported. That house probably here in Australia will be worth about 20 million dollars or more including that huge land.
Keep going James , very interesting videos. Take care and have a nice day with the family
Only some of the items were imported and most of the material was sourced locally.
That was a nice house! But I still love your garden!
Great episode! Lovely house!
Great house tour. 👏🏻👏🏻
He has a large empty front space that he can do something with between the kitchen & office space … the house very clean & minimalize furnishing, unless he still be filling more furnishing as they go. No pool included, pretty big lot, house always looks fresh & clean newly built & low maintence on property …
A true dream home
Magandang gabi James and Ness😊😊
Nice house. Go Hawks!
huge house!
Such an amazing house build. You can really see lots of planning went into the design. The quality is top notch also 👍. Do you have an idea how many square meters that total property is?
The first house is on a lot that is 1107 sqm. The second on a 750 sqm lot.
I love the house ❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very nice house! What kind of flooring is in the main area of the house?
HI James.
Great looking house and property! What did he use for the window tint? We've seen the "one way glass" that works in the daylight, but it doesn't work at night.
I prefer and like your place better!
Really nice house, I have questions: A/C? Central style? What was that building on the right side of the driveway?
Very well done videos, thanks so much for it. We hope to visit you, we have a house in San Simon, Pampanga that we spend winters. We live in California, I'm retired and been with my Filipina wife for over 4 years.
Peace and love, John and Lilian.
Central A/C, yes. The house to the right side is their older family home.
Beautiful❤home
2:12 ❤
Please include construction costs in your future videos! Thanks...
Hello thank you for the video. Any recommendations for CCTV..?
Thank you
We used Dahau.
@@MyPIDream Thank you James. Have you done a Vlog on your system? If not please consider it. We have a house in the province and would like to install a system. Installation, Cost, Placement etc., & a Demo, I believe would be an interesting episode.
Thank you…
Look into Blue Iris System you can put one together yourself for cheap all POE simple to run,
Nice house and well built only thing missing is a poo!
Agree if it were me but then some people aren't the pool type and enjoy other activities.
An amazing built that showcases Caribbean Construction! Congrats Willy I'm sure he's loving his new home!!
Hello. Nice house.!! I know the land is family land… would you know how much it costed to build the house and how many sqm the house size is? I also presume that there are more houses that are going to be built on the property?
Thanks
Mark Euringer
To respect the privacy of the owner, I have not asked the price of this construction project but if he ever offers the info I will be sure to share with everyone here. As far as the rest of the property, I don't think there is any immediate plans to add more building structures but rather to keep it open for trees and landscaping.
Thanks very much. I respect that too. Tho… would you be able to give approximate lot size and home size perhaps approximate please only if able. I am curious that’s all. I understand if you can’t
Thanks
Mark
🙏
I think the price of the land was 100,000 $ and the cost of the house (without the house on the right) 150 - 200,000 $
U can double that.😂
This house needs an interior designer!
😀🏅🏃
Do they have fire insurance?
Homeowner's insurance is available but very few avail of this coverage. Mostly because houses are made of concrete and steel rather than how we build in N. America mostly of wood and flammable materials. I'm not aware of any of the houses I've covered in the New Home Build Series where the homeowner has purchased homeowner's insurance.
How much. From California
My estimated cost 200,000 to 250,000 house only
How much was that build?
That was Beautiful!
What was the cost in US $
I'm curious as well. You would like to know what it would cost if you are thinking about moving there.
Total price?
About $200
I truly enjoy your home built, just looking at those houses m how nice they are, but of course the home owners must be there to make sure they’re doing the job right.
James, can you ask Mr. Mendosa to add me to his Friends List? We would love to get invited to his parties. Beautiful home and Yard.
That dining room table and kitchen cabinet work is incredible!
Not us style house
Where in Luzon?
Beautiful 👌❤️❤️❤️
Amazing build and really inspiring us to speak to Carribean Construction to do our build in the future. Keep up the good work we love your videos!
Wow congratulations sir willy🏡🏡
Hi James, good job on capturing the house tour and thank you to Mr. Willy Mendoza for allowing a camera to enter the beautiful house. Oh the Lipa Grill, a fabulous place too. Tawilis, my fave on the menu.
It's a bit underwhelming approaching the house from the driveway and all you see is the garage doors. It's a lovely building on an enormous plot.
Omg! That house is really spectacular and big, Mr Mendoza probably got a huge pension from the US Navy
Beautiful home! San Miguel James? No! Red Horse every time! :)
Wow, all I can say is absolutely Beautiful James! Thanks to Willy & you for sharing this experience!❤
Romeo and the crew are amazing
Great modern build.
James I watched this Video very nice and well done. What was the Cost?
The owner didn't share his cost but knowing building prices here in our area I would estimate I would say between P28m-P32m to include the wall/fence, landscaping and appliances.
Beautiful but no pool ?
Some people are not into pools.
Don't forget to add the price of what it's going to cost to buy the property and then the cost of putting the house on the property what are you guys spending $800,000 or is it more reasonable like a thousand dollar
Hey Google! Haha! Wow high tech house
Very nice
How much does a house like this cost?
I would estimate P25m-P35m.
Where's the pool?
Guess Willy isn't a pool guy.
Cost?
To respect the privacy of the owner, I have not asked the price of this construction project but if he ever offers the info I will be sure to share with everyone here.
Foreigners need to understand that they cannot own land in the Philippines. What part of that is so difficult to accept?? Your name as a foreigner on the house means nothing. Plus, these are foreigner prices. My point is that if you are dumb enough to fork out money to purchase land in someone else's name...do it, just don't come online crying like a little schoolgirl about how you got taken for a ride as if someone put a gun to your head. No! Take your "L"s and move on.
Actually foreigners can own land here but under very specific circumstances. This accounts for probably a fraction of a fraction of land ownership here.
As for what foreigners pay for builds here, my experience in 7 years is the pricing is the same for a foreigner or a local if the foreigner is smart enough to do their homework. I explain a lot of that in the Villa Feliz build series.
Point is life is short and you can't take anything with you when you're gone so why not enjoy paradise while you can. Everyone has a chance to live in their "Happy Place" but you need to always look at your glass half full...😊
@@MyPIDream I agree with you in that the subject only applies to a fraction of a fraction of foreign land ownership there. I also agree with you that foreigners can in fact own land there under very specific circumstances. For example, a foreign can create a corporation comprising of at least 5 members, of which 60% of those 5 members must be Filipino citizens…or 3 of the 5 members.
The workaround is that the foreigner who is entitled to 40% will basically lifetime buyout 1 of the additional 4 members 15% vote, thus giving the foreigner a 55% majority vote on all issues concerning the property. However, because of this loophole the Philippines government passed the anti-dummy law which imposes both criminal and civil penalties on individuals found in violation of foreign equity limitations laws which may also result in the forfeiture of property and assets in breach of said law.
Foreigners can also legally own land if he or she is married to a Filipino citizen at the time of the Filipino citizen spouse’s death. However, said foreigner has a limited time to sell the property or lose established rights of the property to a surviving son, daughter, mother, or father of the deceased Filipino citizen spouse.
Yes, a foreigner can lease land for up to 50 years with a possible additional 25-year extension…we all know that. And yes, a foreigner can own a Condo so long as the overall Condo structure, whether by unit or square footage is not already more than 40% foreign owned.
Foreigners can build and outright own a physical house on a piece of land that is in his or her Filipino citizen’s name. He or she as a foreigner can also lease said land that he or she builds a physical house from his or her spouse, girlfriend or otherwise. To wit I would say, if things go south, I seriously doubt any foreigner could endure the spouse’s brothers, nephews and uncles’ constant harassment, to include possible death threats, as well as physical altercations to get him to depart the property all together. And dare I say that the Barangay Captain is going to be of little to no help assistance as it is simply not the Filipino way to go against another Filipino particularly if there is a perceived rich foreigner involved.
Just food for thought. Not attempting to discourage foreigners from doing as they wish regarding how they live their lives in the Philippines with whatever risks they decide to take in footing the bill for land and building a house. But noting that they should consider what rights a foreigner actually has in reality "if" they are not in the type of relationship that has weathered multiple storms, trials, tribulations and still remain the best of friends in laugher, comfort and confidence with their partner as I have and possibly you as well as some others have.
