OSTOMY CARE TIPS | HOW TO STAY HYDRATED WITH AN OSTOMY | OVERCOME DEHYDRATION WITH AN OSTOMY

3 weeks post op and this week I have become very dehydrated which is the reason for sharing this video. I want to explain:
1. Why ostomates are more at risk of dehydration
2. The warning signs of dehydration and what to watch out for
3. Suggested treatment and how to prevent (advice from stoma nurses)
I was quite late to pick up on the warning signs (as there is just so much happening in my body right now it is hard to pinpoint what is doing what!) so this video is to share with you my experience and what I have learnt.🙏🏼
