Hi Hayden, that looked to be a truly great adventure out through the back blocks of Central Otago, and it was greatbto see all tjose Landrovers all together, bedt regards from a ex ChCh lad now living in Melbourne 👍👍👍👍
@@hayden_jones Lol .👍 I got to drive a 1969 series 2A , a few weeks ago. It had bigger than stock tire so it was a beast to steer. Most fun I ever had working that hard.👍lol . I want one!
As said already Hayden, another excellent video. So why were you unable to fly the drone, was it just the wind factor? The last shots of just you from the air looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Love these videos! I’m watching from the US.. Question… if you know, What’s the split between gas and diesel motors..Approx. how many miles are there trips and what does everyone do about fuel? At roughly 10MPG.. (I have a Gas-95 D90) I’m always concerned about fuel.. sometimes, depending on the trip, have to bring 4 20gal cans) …
Thanks so much mate. To answer your question..... NZ is a fraction the size of the U.S so running out of fuel isn't much of a problem. On big trips I bring a spare 20L of diesel with me
Great video thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers Andy. Glad you enjoyed it.😀
NZ is certainly blessed with great scenery plus great array of Land Rovers and other generic Land Rovers. Good to see Dad at the wheel.
Yeah, we're very lucky with our views. 🙏🏼

DO IT !!!! I might be biased, but I think the late model 2a's are the best 🙂

Trust me. I’m looking!

We got told at the start of the trip "No drones". And yeah it was very windy at times.
Hey Hayden, I love your videos. Just wanted to ask whether this track has public access, or do you have to ask permission? Thanks as always!
Thanks mate. You definitely need permission for this track. There's a locked gate at the start, and I think there's another locked gate near the top.

Great video as always, can we get your old man to shut up and let you talk for ten seconds without interruption next video?!
Great trip team!
Hahaha. Thanks so much.
The old man isn't a fan of the camera when it's pointed at him 🤣
