This is the ideal strength podcast. You might not like it, but this is what a peak performance podcast looks like.
Stephen Berg NON NEGOTIABLE
No podcast intro can top that.
We are gonna try our best but it will be hard.
Looking forward to it.
Can we have a parody intro to every podcast now?
That would be golden.
We probably can't pull every week but we do have several planned.
+Juggernaut Training Systems yes daddy
I don't think its possible to top the 'Commando' one, absolutely perfect!
60 seconds in and they already earned my like.

Please tell me you guys are gonna release a shirt with your faces with that pose on it, right?
troyskiez I'd buy that for a dollar.
I'd buy it...probably...maybe
We have a couple JuggLife shirts in the works.
As a former photographer who always made fun of those portrait studio/mill portraits, that portrait of you two is amazing. Looking away from the camera makes it all the more special. (Who is he looking at???)
Hoping to see some theoretical supertotal training templates now! I've wanted to do this kind of training for soooo long but haven't known how to do so effectively
Great talk!
I took 2.5 months to focus on olympic weightlifting while putting powerlifting on the "back seat" and it was well worth it. I didn't lose any overall strength, but my athleticism and mobility increased.
that opening was golden
that intro deserves its own vlogs series, make it happen Max Montana & Snatch Wesley Smith grocery shopping, food weighing, pre workout testing, car talking, in between sets impressions, mirror posing, sponsors flashing, post workout meal in restaurant and at home, family time, dog walking, 1st world problems confessions and of course progress pictures
Here I sit watching the podcast on video and I just happen to look in the mirror. I have the same stupid/happy/mesmerized look on my face that my dog has when there is a dog barking on the TV. Thanks guys.
It's been this long and that intro still cracks me up
The intro was pure ecstasy
With JTS, i often feel compelled to write in order to compliment the scientific dialogue i so rarely find in strength and conditioning.
However, i write today not to praise science, but that fantastic intro. The karate on the chips and crackers made my day. I didnt think it got much better than the "commando intro", yet i find myself happily in the wrong.
I am now sufficiently pumped for training.
That intro is the greatest thing ever. Liked and subscribed, all the merch.
Put the podcast on spotify tooo pleeeeezzzzzz!
george fedotenko Spotify is difficult to get on.
Bromance of the century! Throw in Dr.Mike and done!
gentlemen, superb job with the new setup, and the intro was priceless!!!
intro made my day!
You guys are the best! That intro was crazy good...
That intro made my fucking day, omg!!!
If I didn't already have a man crush on Max and Chad I would now
FiendsWings those fucking eyes
+Mr 350z Nismo so dreamy
Been running the Juggernaut method 2.0 reverse method. Just finished the 8s month and honestly I'm surprised at what training at submaximal loads does. I thought I needed to go balls to the wall every time, I can't believe how wrong I was lol.
Kilstardo 😊
Is it weird that the longer Chad and Max are together the more they start to look alike?
this is my new favourite video of all time
OMFG GREATIST INTRO OF ALL TIME
greatest intro of all time
Thumbs up for the thumbnail & intro for this video!!!
You guys are HILARIOUS!!! Love this channel!
You guys just won the Internet... Forevah!
the greatest thumbnail in the history of RUclips
That intro is pure epic gold!!! hahahaha And the video content in general, awesome as always!
Most epic intro ever!
Best fucking intro
OMG I was laughing so much that I'm sweating like crazy hahahahah.
Best intro ever
Intro really did have me in stitches, gonna watch the rest whilst eating my spuds and lentils!
Guys, you're amazing!
Can't wait to see what chad is going to snatch and clean and jerck!!!!
That intro was the funniest thing I have seen in ages!
You guys have the best goddamn content. Bar none.
Jan Zelezny actually had a go at baseball pitching. I think he tried out for the Braves and he apparently had a flamethrower for an arm but not the best accuracy.
I've heard legend of Zelezny doing 140kg dynamic pullovers.
That skit was great!!
Solid intro.
And even more solid content. Thank you.
DId that new Clarence Kennedyy video inspire this talk? lol
holy shit that intro made my week.
Mother of God, the salvation of the iron game in 60 seconds! THANK YOU. Dying over here!!!!! That was great.
sooo perfect!!
StepBrothers part 2 coming soon to a theater near you
Any chance of a a Wendler 5|3|1 critique video? or is that series over?
Oh man. I always wondered where this intro came from
You guys are awesome. Max always looks dead tired.
But what about the boy who lifts? (Clarence K./Harry Spotter)
They mention him right after Klokov
Actually Misha as great as he is has the second highest aggregate super-total of all time, (1482.5) Mark Henry's aggregate super-total is 1508 KG: 180 kg snatch, 220 kg clean and jerk, 432.5 kg squat (raw with wraps), 265.5 kg bench and 410 kg deadlift.
The super total you may have been referencing for Mark Henry was one made of his best official oly lifting total (400 kg) and his best official powerlifting total: (1060 kg) for a super-total of 1460 but this is not aggregate.
Oh shit I competed in the 5 bar show down and just now saw this
Excellent podcast, as always. :)
I am wondering, what would be a decent supertotal number to aim for if you are not a professional athlete? Ten times the bodyweight for an average sized guy (80 to 100 kg)?
Best intro ever
This was awesome hahaha! Love the intro guys!
30 sec in and I already liked the video.
That intro makes me want to share this with everyone I know, knowing full well 95% of them do not give a fuck about lifting weights
Loved the intro haha
Great podcast! Thanks
Absolutely hysterical!! loved it.
when you say ken p-something at 8:18 isn't that a picture of yurik vardanyan?
Will you post the full interview from that Westside documentary when it comes out? I need it
PRESTIGE... WORLDWIDE!!!!!
Clarence, oh yeah!
JokeZ1337 I think the inspiration for the supertotal has got to be the recent Clarence0 video :D
These men deserve Oscars for that performance.
DIS GONE BE GOOD
AN hour long video this is going to be fun lol
This information is golden. Thank you.
Any tips for books I can research to up my knowledge on how to properly program the supertotal?
The intro was fffooookin gold xD
step brothers is my favoure movie dudes, well facking done xD
1:00:30 best story thus far. all hail cws
holy shit that intro was so good
What are your thoughts on the Hybrid Performance Method, which offers a program geared towards simultaneous weightlifting and powerlifting training?
holy crap, big time fancy microphones
Nice video, but at 8:17 the picture is not Ken Patera... that's Yurik Vardanian
Fan-fucking-tastic content as always
Hahahahahahahahaahha GEEEEEEEEEEEESH!!!!! The intro is just tooooooooO awesome!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💪💪💪💪💪
look up jezza upus 400KG frontsquat
Super Totalitarian?
OGPancakewasd A Superlifter?
ayaou should make a superTotal book.
Bahahhaa the beginning is so great
i fucking love this haha
First of all that was amazing. B. How can you use copywrited material and then sell stuff?
I think there are time limits on copyrighted song/video use or maybe they just haven't caught us yet.
Woo the Irish get a mention
I would love to see power lifting become a Olympic sport. I want to start weightlifting but I would love to see powerlifting get in the Olympics. It could be a sister or brother sport to Olympic lifting. I don't know how qualified this two gentlemen are but if their information is correct the sport are different to the point were you could not just jump from sport to the other and just be dominant. You will have to take time to really get good or great at the sport. At the most in powerlifting maybe time should have a effect on your over all score. A speed to weight ratio.
He was right. I did need a minute to pull my shit together after that intro. HA!
Isn't that a picture of Yuri Vardanyan at 8:18, not Ken Patera?
Alex Nordin yep that's a mistake. Definitely Vardanian in the picture.
For the Super Total, is it better to do a Squat jerk for your clean and jerk? Or use "lunge position" for your jerk?
Fantastic as always! I was curious as to how you would also incorporate Strongman into a program like this?
Also, when do you expect the Supertotal Club program to be up on Juggernautcoaching.com?
Thank you!
Thanks. SuperTotal in Early May.
amazing
One thing really bugged me was that you keep referring to deadlifts in pounds (800-900) but when you talk about cleans and snatches you switch to kilos. To make it even more confusing, squats are somehow bimetric in your minds and you kept using both kilos and pounds. Love the podcasts, please be consistent on the metrics :P.
haha that was great!!!
Can you do how to clean beginner guide please?
Its being filmed on Wednesday.
anyone notice a slight echo from the room change?
The kid in north carolina? You mean Nathan Damron, the freedom fridge??
Would you guys put up a sample template at any point?
Running up the stairs is cardio so had to use a double
Can I get that thumbnail of you two on a poster? I'll take 5!
Make more parodies! Shit is hilarious
I don't think I heard any mention of Shane Hammon who must've been near the top of the list for sure.
We mentioned him but also noted that it is difficult to equate because his powerlifting was single ply. His squat was amazing but other 2 lifts weren't incredible.
