I like that it's quieter and you don't have to hack up the inside of your rc and you have to drive it a little bit more. With the tegue as soon as you start to climb the brushed is really pretty darn smooth the only difference is you have to pay attention to the skinny trigger a little bit more. Barrage motors are cheap lol and easy to install 😂🤣
cool upgraded video! You did a wonderful job. The information in this video will help many people. And thank you for the detailed explanation. Amazing 2FM RC! You're a cool friend.👍😍😎👍😎💯
Hey Matt, Loving the channel and the quality information that you have been putting out about these awesome little micro crawlers. I think it would be awesome for you to put together a video that outlines a 200-250$ build for a beginner. Knowing what you know now, what would be the first money spent? C10/Jeep or Deadbolt base? Servo and motor upgrade? Wheels and tires first? I think it would be great to see you put together something outlining the initial jump into this hobby! Thanks!
That’s a great idea and I’ve kinda meant to do something like that for awhile now. I may have to get on that project soon! Thanks so much for the compliment and for watching!
Great video. Funny that you steered away from outrunner motor cuz I just put one in my tetra k1. Works pretty well just have to work on programming the Lizard to get rid of the chattering. Again great video, love your stuff👍😎
id love to do a half cap body on my mofo ugly chassis, i feel bad to cover up the whole chassis with a body its so nice, i appreciate you for putting me on the the mofo ugly because i love it so much, its almsot as capable as my losi mini crawler now.
Awesome rig! Love the chassis, wonder if I could make the same thing out of carbon fibre, you said something about 4-link in the front, can you make a video showing how you make it a 4-link?
I am very grateful I found your channel. I’m new to RC’s and and I have had many questions. Literally every question I had you have a video of. From the tires, wheels, and weights to the motor’s and ESC’s. Then I needed info on chassis and LCG set ups. Every hop up I have been interested in you use . My friend you sir have saved me a lot of time any cash. I now have ordered so much stuff and have so many ideas I will be busy for about a year. Cheers buddy!👍🍻 P.S. I personally want to set up a my MOFO similar to yours as far as mounting Electronics, and motors. A video of this Set up with an Outrunner and Stock style Installation tutorial would be something that would probably garner a lot of interest.
Could fill and work in those holes in corners and do a spot primer job…. Could flow with theme of rest of body. Just an observation. Makes me wanna build up and mount my Yota body on mine even more now, awesome build,,
Same thing happened to my set of injora wheels first install wasn't even tight and just snapped drives me crazy seeing it so ill just keep running my treal wheels.
Please make a video for the noble 4. All the videos on RUclips suck. I love the noble but I’m fairly new to rc and need your help. Because I like the you explain stuff.
I’m running the small version but the larger shouldn’t have much trouble fitting. May just have to mount it a bit different idk. I just prefer the small ones for these because of no antenna.
Matt, a few questions. I am looking into the GT4 Noble and I was wondering if there was a way to assign one of knobs/switches/whatever to cycle through the steering modes (Front/Rear/4ws/crab walk) without doing the long process of using the screen? Second question, why aren't you putting a flatbed on this truck? Will it not fit? (I was considering it on mine. I have a new scx24 sitting here and the mofo ugly chassis waiting to be installed. I just keep delaying it since I keep thinking up stuff that I should install while I have it apart and have to get the stuff ordered. But...I do have to admit that your truck look awesome with just the chassis rails back there.
I just kinda decided I was gonna leave the back free on this one. Since it’s a hard body anyway I thought it would help keep the weight up high as low as possible. May do it eventually just to see the looks lol. Honestly the one thing I’m not a fan of on the Noble nb4 is 4ws. I haven’t played with it much but no matter what I tried I just haven’t liked it very well yet. I am pretty sure you could set a switch to cycle the steering modes though. The customization is almost endless on it. I’ll have to play with that a bit and see what I can find out. Sorry I’m not much help with that one.
I'm possibly getting another panda hobby tetra, but this one is a 6x6. anything I should know before I obtain the panda hobby tetra X1 6x6? Because if you have tips I would love some, also the panda hobby tetra X1 is my favorite truck so I hope the 6x6 version proves no different. I'm also going to put the atlas front bumper on this 6x6 because I've officially had the atlas and it's good apart from the stock motor. Please respond

I know this is a 2 year old video. But im new to crawlers and starting an lcg scx24 build for a class 2 comp truck. Do you still like the mofo ugly ad chassis? Or recommendations for something newer? Thanks and keep uo the great content!
@@roblootens2994 I would look into the NW Chassis works Athos or prophet designs echo chassis. I have the Athos and it’s a beast. Looking at building the echo soon I’d say. The ugly af chassis is still a great chassis. It’s an easy swap where the others I mentioned will probably be a bit more involved. Yota looks awesome! Similar stance to my power wagon. I'm not finding much info on updating furitek. Some say it fixes "cogging". Others say stops working. The app doesn't stay linked and remember changes, so I'm hesitant to mess with it since my settings are otherwise good. Maybe it's my older android. Any advice?
Furitek is not that great with announcing updates etc, check their FB official page and group, they are pretty active there. They just release a new update yesterday, meant to fix cogging with brushless. I agree with you, their App and updates are not super reliable, I'm a bit iffy about it too.. If your setup works, don't mess with it, is what I say.. BTW, love your wagon build, pls do more vids of it! Update: Just tried updating my lizard with brushless setup, didn't go that smoothly, took about 20 tries before it worked. New firmware does seem smoother. I was on V.1.8 which did stutter a bit, but wasn't horrible during driving. So if nothing is wrong with it, don't update it.. LOL!
Love you man......I appreciate your insight and content......Question, sorry if you have already answered this before, is that the original chassis for that rig? It looks carbon fiber-ish.
loving, loving, loving this build. you are making it hard for me to resist putting one together. good stuff bro. i also had a screw snap on the wheels. i just epoxied the head on since they just for show. 🤘🚙 had another though: be cool to find an engine sticker for the servo maybe. pop that hood 🤪
Yeah I thought about that. Or if I can make myself take the time to paint the motor that comes in the model kit and fit it to the servo that would be cool!
I CAD design my own custom LCG chassis rails and 3D print. Resin and extruder printers. Fairly specific to model. Some rails are general. In the process of local company cutting carbon fiber rails. Could I donate a chassis to you.

Hey matt by chance did you ever try to mount the furitek motor in that chassis? Just curious if it would fit
I didn’t but I’ve seen several do it. It’ll fit. Just may have to move some things around a bit.
Put some tail lights in those spots would look cool

Is the RX the small or big version?
Also do you know if the 8ch FGr8B would fit the SCX24?

So i have driven the furitek with the brushless and brushed i think 🤔 i like the brushed better
