Imagine this guy with serious tools for example a lathe ,milling machine and a decent tig welder,,,,, it will be the birth of a new pcp air rifle brand for sure, exellent work my friend👌
I have been watching videos like these for years, bit of a strange hobby and I have always wanted to make my own air rifle. This is one of the best designs I have ever seen using fittings. You are very ingenious.
I was, in the past, more critical of your vids...but I've come to better understand your methods and your ability to work with "what you have". New, more appreciative, fan here.
Anthony White yeah lock tite only likes to hold with a thread so it has something besides friction to grip with. Still trying to figure out the application for this also. It’s a really large value. Definitely limits what you plan on using it for.
You have a lethal design flaw there. The hammer/piston you built will wear down with each trigger, it might hold one trigger or 100 but at one point the small metal plate will separate from the piston, resulting in the piston to fly backward. Possibly right into (and through) your head if that's behind it. That's a certainty, it will happen the way it's built. It might even happen without triggering if it stays pressurized longterm. Please take that into consideration with such designs, keep in mind where point of failures are likely, or it's "face off". A second more general warning comes from a death in germany a couple years ago. The guy was a hobby diver and he built something very similar to your valve, also from steel screws to equalize pressure between his many bottles, pressure up to 4500 PSI. He did that for multiple years, one day the steel screw construction broke and two parts flew into him. One through his chest and one into his skull. He died from the brain injury the same day, his child found him. I've seen a steel screw bigger than the ones you use rip in two pieces (more than 1 cm in diameter) from material weakness from less than 100 atm/bar (1500 PSI). Aside of that, it's quite awesome to see such functional design made with such simple methods. inspiring. Also scary.
Wow!! as always love your new design haha looks like your camera skills got better easy to see what you used, and easier to know each part's measurments. I am trying to make the valve of your last video. Unfortunantly, I dont have a tapping tool, it maybe hard to build this one >
Hello sorry if I disturb you but I can not find the compression fitting could you give me a link to buy it the same as yours I would also need the 3 mm plug to be drilled. Unfortunately I can't find it Tanks
1:12 can you tell me what is the name of the brass thing that you screwed into the fitting. if it's not hard you can make the name and size of the parts by timecode
but I do think you should either name every one of these parts and tell us where got them. because, for example, a lot of people might not know the 3mm rod is from and old hard drive and might try to buy it. the rubber bush also, where did u get one? or that thing that came before the rubber bush, i dont know what it is... that aside, great vid, very helpfull
Probably better he didnt before someone out there hurts themselves lol. There have been some pretty bad accidents before. Like the one guy who got a 30 mm end cap put threw his leg. Most people know how to be careful, but theres always a few who dont.

Anthony White Which God to explain under the gas cylinder mouth on the black is what valve ?
Yeah its happened to me with epoxy they come out crazy fast
Compressive shear strength (ISO10123) for 262 with Steel pins and collars is 1450 psi, but only 25% of that with brass. so be carefull

Simple solution to this problem is to not drill a hole through the whole part. Just a nest to stick in the shaft.
What would you recommended instead of the steel bolts?
@@acorgiwithacrown467 an actual threaded rod, threaded into the seat-head would work, especially if you use red Loctite
