Good way to explain Starcraft 2: Its a Chess game with a clock, while youre solving a rubiks cube and making dinner for a family of 20 people and their dogs....and you're getting slapped in the face all the time.
That's for everyone except Zerg who start 2 extra pawns in the chess board and the rubrics cube half solved.

You don't understand, Marine Marauder Medivac Mine all start with M so they're pretty much the same unit.
Goofy build but at 19:51 I swear that's a winning position for Zerg. Harass worker, when they fight run away & waste mining time. Meanwhile just drone & take natural. Maybe if hatch in main gets up spine if you want. The only thing you can to do is not lose all your lings to an SCV surround. He has one job to do. Hit the hatch hotkey & drone. He blew it.... and then complains about Terran. SMH. I love this series. :)
100% I thought the same thing. His one job was to not let the zerglings die while he danced and did free damage to the command center or picked off an scv here and there while his hatchery finished and he was able to make more zerglings in his base to overpower the SCV pack. He had 0 reason to ever move his screen from that point and he looked away for at least 5 seconds to... idk, actually. Since he didn't macro I have no idea what he was doing.
yeah definitely could have micro'd around and wasted a hugeeeeeeeee amount of mining time. Macro up behind it and get a solid lead

tbh, i think the FGC is worse because i rarely get games like this in starcraft, but every other day that i choose to play a fighting game online, there's always such awful toxicity that makes the world's pollution look tame in comparison.
to be fair, a few people and most of the community figures are cool people, but i am so sorry about their backs because of how much they have to carry the adult babies of the FGC.

Yeah marines don't take their armor off a whole lot, but sometimes the risks are worth the rewards! The situation mentioned around 14:16 being a prime example
Also that last Terran army had like 90% Marauders which are pretty good against Colossi.

All thisa just reminds me of a game I had years ago when the Protoss complained that I made siege tanks. Specifically because it countered his build so I wasn't supposed to make them

Starcraft is not the chess of the videogame world. That would be Dota2 cos it has proper drafting, its about strategy among over a 100 heroes not playing only 1 of 3 races.
How do you not use ctrl groups? You have to use them even in campaign!
I should use some widowmines, not to try to win with them or as a part of a coherent strategy, but just to mess with people.

I do feel MonkeySpawn’s pain. WM drops really take far too much effort and time to defend compared to the amount of effort and resources sacrificed they take to pull off. Terran doesn’t even have to feel the pain in TvT because SCVs have more health than either Probes or Drones. Imagine the salt if Disruptors cost 75/25 and could be built out of Tier 2. That would be completely unacceptable to everyone else, yet that’s basically what Widow Mine drops are equivalent to. And then Terran just switches to the same gameplan they’ve been running since WoL - MMM. It’s definitely frustrating having to build all sort of units T1-T3 and learning how to use them just for Terran to do the same thing they’ve always done - and then when Toss wins Terran always flames them as “A-Move win race”…
Your arguments make no sense. SCVS have more hp, yes - but they still die in one shot to widow mines? What are you even saying lol
@@MrKarl-zt5cp Mines do 40 splash damage which happens to be exactly the health of Drones and health+shields for Probes. They don’t kill SCVs by splash damage. You might lose one or two from direct damage if you miss the medivac flying in, but not your entire mineral line like happens to Toss and Zerg.
MonkeySpawnX was high plat/ low diamond when this game was played. How does such a high rating happen if he doesn't even use control groups? I'm always surprised what you can make up for with apm.
Wasn't using em for army but was using control groups for buildings at least! Those are probably the most important ones. Still hard to play without separate army groups whenever you gotta split up your army though

Colossus doesn't beat BIO, only Marines. Marauders counter Colossus, then Disruptor counter Marauders (becoz thicc Marauder lump up will get rekt), Medivac pickup or splits can go against Disruptor...
Like there's nothing imba in Rock Paper Scissors, just do the right counter.

He's cheated when he was young in online play, and he's suspected of recently cheating in over-the-board as you know, but nobody making those allegations thinks it's a buttplug. That's just Reddit or Twitter or somewhere that started the marital aid rumour.
I sometimes wonder if any of these players see the videos and what their reactions to it are.
i highly doubt players like that watch starcraft content, they just play and think theyre great at the game because they have no clue how the game actually works

I think it’s really strange how zerg and protoss have to use drastically different unit compositions to counter units, but terrans complain about not being able to win with only bio. Imagine if zerg was made that they couldn’t win every game with only roach ravager or if protoss complained that they couldn’t win with solely zealots.
Like, i saw a terran player balance whining about how they cant win against ling bane ultra with only bio… as if the problem is that marines aren’t strong enough and not that they’re using the wrong unit comp.

Dude, bio is literally the only good army Terran has in TvP. Even lategame is just bio with Libs/Ghosts. Mech only works against Zerg and even then, it's still worse.
The main reason why Terrans have used basically the same bio unit comp for nearly a decade (literally MMM with slight tweaks over and over) is because Terran has no fast response option outside of bio. No Nexus Recalls, Nydus Worms, or Creep sanic speed to quickly reposition units anywhere, so they're stuck with Medivacs for army movement and...nothing else.
This is also the crux of why Terran mech and air combat units are also almost nonexistent: you can't attack with them without leaving yourself wide open to getting attacked so that playstyle is just a glorified base race setup. Now, on paper the intended playstyle of Terran is supposed to be slow pushing with a mix of infantry in Bunkers with Siege Tanks and other mech units for heavy firepower, slowly advancing by salvaging the Bunkers and also moving your own base with the army...except Reactors/Tech Labs discourage moving the buildings plus an opponent can just go to your old base locations with all the depots and supply block you so obviously no one ever used this playstyle that Terran was built around.
So the result is that all the units with low mobility and no overpowered aspect about them in a game centered so strongly around quick-response unit positioning are useless filler jokes at best, and that's roughly half of Terran's available units. If Siege Tanks did not deal bonkers damage with splash, no one would even look at them as an option.
Zerg builds a single tech structure and then can build as many of the unit it unlocks as their entire production infrastructure will allow. It is supreme bias that you would expect a terran to tech switch in the same manner as a zerg. Perhaps terrans find it "really strange" that after a battle a zerg can simply show up with an entirely different army composition while they themselves are constrained by the limited options of their existing infrastructure, and transitioning would be a slow expensive process. Trust me terrans would love to be able to go from marine marauder and then suddenly have 20 thors, shared upgrades and all, the way you guys do with your ultralisks. Food for thought.
