I saw He walked by Night only a few days ago and liked it. Same thing with The house on telegrah Hill. I am a fan of Richard Basehart and I must admit that he is really good in those two movies. I agree that he was underapreciated.
Richard Basehart always gave 100% in whatever he did he was a very professional actor, the best part in this film I thought as in the acting was when( Basehart) got shot in the side and he took the bullet out and stitched himself up, I tell you I felt every bit of that he was so good!
Can't get enough ! Thanks !

Absolutely! And he was able to marry Valentina Cortese, so he had it together in real life as well; I fell for her in Thieves' Highway (1949). 😁
@@NoirFan77 thanks, I will watch it.
@@jadzia2098 You're in for a treat. Wonderful noir.

Loved He walked by night. Excellent actor. This Baseheart or basehart
I agree! Richard Basehart was very underrated. Check out 'Tension (1949)' and 'La Strada (1954)' among others.
@@NoirFan77 thanks for naming his movies. Will be watching
Maybe could have mentioned Erwin Walker, the real life criminal, whose story is as amazing as the movie.
