Casey Abrams is THE most underrated singer to date. While being on American Idol, he was the most original, talented singer on that season. He made it to about 5th place. Now, he has an album out, is touring and many other things... but chooses to go about town with his bass and play sidewalk sessions. So awesome!

On the street, musicians don't earn much money. As much as it's nice to be out and listen to free music, great musicians deserve to be on stage where they can make a living from their passion.
I didn't mean that I don't want them to succeed, or that I want street performances to be necessary for them to get buy, just for local artists to remember the guys on the street that might not be able to go to a concert for one reason or another.

I didn't think you were saying that you didn't want them to succeed, but it seems like you might have otherwise just missed the actual entailment of your statement.
I don't know what the other guy said, but regardless, whatever the reason for your wish, I hope you see how inconsiderate it is for the actual musicians you're saying you'd like to see in those conditions. I catch your drift, but we live in the world that we do, & there's really no way in which that would work as a viable means for musicians' life (not to say it's especially viable as it stands). That's a rather culpable statement you made there regardless - don't quite get the approval of it...
