Ah I love this game so much! Even made a mini hack for it. The actual reason why they removed the intro cutscene from the american version is because of the cartridge costs. The japanese cartridge was 2MBs, and the actual game was 1.25MBs, so they wanted to decrease the production costs overseas by fitting the game into a 1MB cartridge. For that, they removed the intro cutscene, its graphics and music that were used in said cutscene, unused test levels and a debug menu.
I...can see the enjoyment out of this game but I've never been hot on playing it myself. Some SNES games are just too before my time to get into and I'm not bug brained enough for Kirby golf. I think it's more fun to watch other people play! It's always chaotic fun.
I love Kirby's Dream Course just because of Game Grumps. The wacky stuff they got into while playing co-op were golden. and the whole Grump's Dream Course has a bunch of GG references apart from the course names
As a kirby fan, this is one of the few Kirby games I have not yet played. I've always heard about (and seen) how good it is, but I've never gone forward and played it. Maybe it's about time I do. Great video as always!
There's a sonic fan game based on this game. It's only a sonic fan game because they were worried nintendo would take it down if it was kirby themed. It's very short rn but it's worth a shot if you like this game.
I played it locally with someone on the snes classic. It is probably the most fun local multiplayer title on there unless you can both play street fighter 2 well on pad
Could you do a video on De Blob and De Blob 2? They're very underrated and now that both of them have been ported to modern consoles and steam, they have a chance to be appreciated without janky motion controls!
Oh man, you love kirby's dream course too! I think you can tell a lot about someone based on their love of dream course haha. Mr Hidden Chest, have you the means to experience local multiplayer these days or has it been the online functionality of snes online you've relied on more recently? I ask because my next game is coming along well, and it's very much local multiplayer focused, and I have every intention of getting it to you, but my networking knowledge, especially for the extremely fast paced game I'm working on, is limited
@@TheHiddenChest fantastic news! Then I think you'll be interested in the new game for sure. Ive still been plugging away the last year and a half, although the covid pandemic has forced me to work nights on my "real job" haha. Of course I watch all of your videos even though I've stayed quiet online for a long time :) Still mostly just me, but have hand picked some fine folks to help out with the music and sfx this time as the art and animation is significantly more detailed so is taking me longer. For now, all I can say is it's an over the top, fictional sports game that's like air hockey meets fighting games meets anime ;) When I reveal it, I'll be sure to let you know!

Ive loved this game ever since the runaway guys coverd it and am so glad to hear more people find this Hidden gem
The only thing stopping this game from fading into the ether is youtubers occasionally talking about it, and I’m proud to uphold that tradition!

I tried playing this when it first hit NSO, but I was so bad at it that I gave it up pretty quickly. Maybe I should give it another shot.
Make a video about paper mario oragami king
This is so good!
LoL, Kirby’s Avalanche wasn’t really a spin-off, but was more of a reskin of Puyo Puyo, because at the time they thought it was too Japanese.
Love this game!

I can do local! Also glad to see you’re still making games, I’m hyped to try it!

while you made a compelling case it's still not a game i enjoyed enough to try playing again...
Again, RUclips hasn't notified me or even showed your videos in my recommandations, so I'm one month late...
Go go hypergrind
