Very comfortable..and I recommend this for anyone having small ears like mine..where Samsung galaxy earbuds fall often..So hands-free. Today the whole day communication I have been using this.
I got these about 4 days ago and have worn them every day since. So comfortable I forget I’m wearing them and as someone who has real issues with ear fatigue it’s amazing. Great for hands free phone calls and music, podcasts etc while still connected to the outside world ❤
Great to have you back. I had no idea these existed, really interesting to see Huawei trying something different because we've been missing innovation in ear buds. I don't care about gimmicks like transparent design, but I do love seeing companies trying to be genuinely innovative.
@@fantasytky28 That's fair but also - how many designs do we see like it today? Can't even buy the latest Sony Ambie's easily across some parts of the world. So in today's market it still is something different.
@@victorypigeon it would be true if u didn't mentioned innovation. What Huawei done here is not innovation. They are just doing minor changes or improvement on what Sony have already innovated. Before Sony ambie, there was no this shape of earclip product, Sony innovate with a new shape and release this new design product (structural) Huawei on the other hand take on the existing design and incremental changes or improvement on top (none structural, more to incidental).
@@fantasytky28 Fair, but my point around innovation was more broad - so many earbuds look the same right now. Sony's been doing some cool design stuff with Linkbuds, too. In terms of 'copying' we could easily say the same of Sony for other products - there's only so many shapes and designs around. And if Huawei can make it work, good on them. I'm still loving my XM4s (in-ear and headphones), but maybe this clip design is good for others.
Good to see you back basil these ear buds are very interesting got so used to ear buds that completely cover my ear my Sony xb700 my soundcore life p2 hopefully Huawei will continue with these syle of buds improving them along the way they could even make a in ear version to
I have the Huawei freeclip. I do believe it is a product that is great for indoor not too noisy space. Pro Innovative Stays on great for indoor it fits anyone comfortable Long battery Life Con Too expensive sound quality is dependent on the location it drowns in planes, trains etc. when on a phone call your background noise can be heard by the person you are speaking to kudos to Huawei for the first generation, I believe this product will get better from the second generation on, they will need to make some adjustments to the speaker compartment, they might have noise cancellation when making a phone call ETC..
What about privacy? Can the people around me hear what I'm listening to? Can I still hear the music while being in a noisy environment like subway or on a train?
Wow, finally someone made an ear bud that looks like it can actually stay in my ear AND allow hearing external sound, perfect! Should also be safer for avoiding hearing damage (which is more likely the closer the speaker is to your ear drum).
great video. makes me think of the meta glasses, where you can listen but hear your envionmrnt. i wonder if the world will be finding this more useful now
Yeah, really good point. Both indulgent purchases that are pretty useless in a super noisy environment but decent as a second or third way of listening. Good seeing you in Dubai!
Hi, what do you think of the Huawei FreeClip compared to the new Soundcore C40i? A comparative test would be great because the Huawei are a reference. a year separates them but the FreeClips still seem to be in the race!
I'm having a latency problem using them on Windows....the latency is about 117ms...and I can't figure out how to reduce it....any idea? And yes, I checked the low latency in the app, but when I log in on Windows... the same issues are back. It works well on the phone
Quite like the look of these. All I want is something that will stay in and that's something I haven't found to date. No idea why, but everything recommended not to fall out I've tried - and they all fall out. Don't really care what they look like.
@@tech_edit Thank you. I was hoping for the mics to be better, like the Freebuds Pro (which blow everything else out of the water at this moment); if the mics were great, I would have gone for them since phone calls are my main use case (followed by listening to podcasts).
If they're your main pair of earbuds, then get the FreeBuds 5. They are less style-focused, but you can use them in more scenarios. If you have other in-ear headphones you like using, and these are a second pair, then the FreeClips will add different use-cases, so may be a better shout.
People didn't report hearing nearby sound even at high volumes. There is a little bit of a compressed sensation when you take them off, but while wearing them, I often forgot I was wearing anything.
Hi, posing the question - are they for the win? But also, attempting to imply they're a little wtf as well. Clearly my thumbnail skills need work if I'm having to explain it 😅 - hope you enjoyed the video. Basil

Apples not doing any innovation. I don’t want to look like some cringe chav in the uk but with these ear buds are cringe like one of those ear rings but I probably would want the beige color
Huawei has a unique way of understanding and presenting what truly resonates with my interests and preferences.

Hey. Can you please tell id about the sound quality. And call experience
@@MohammadSohail-p3csound quality is good for open ear, If u don't mind noise cancelling it's enough. Call quality clear for me even in the crowd
Music not as good as in-ear stuff (compared to Jabra elite 65t) also not as loud. but call quality is great and better mic
Thanks Huawei employee, we really appreciate your feedback

Yea. The innovation that Sony ambie done continuously more than 7 years ago
the innovation anker does years ago.. this one is as unique.

Most important question is can i use these in library?? Can person next to me hear songs?
As long as you have it below 50% volume, yes
At first I didnt inow what to think of these. But now i think they're very cool. It's a subtle, alternative look.
please bring more of these kind! they are awesome for sports! thanks.
Finally a rival to original Linkbuds from Sony

Hey man, how's SOAD?
Now this is new
Are they available in the USA? Tried reaching out to them but didn't receive anything
juz bought one recently.. it is very cool
How’s the audio quality compare to other competitors like airpods?
there is AI Life. apps.. there is EQ I thnk it's as good as airpod.. except no anc
Are they very good for calls?
❤luv them, they are not perfect, not for everyone but they excellent depending on the occasion
Thanks for sharing. Does it has multipoint pairing and connection? meaning is it possible to connect to two devices at the same time?
Yes it does.
@tech_edit noted with thanks and great to hear that:)
Definitely different, but not for me!
Where to purchase in the US?
i cant keep earbuds in my ear bc my ears are so small but i think i need noise canceling too idk if these are for me

I heard that with these headphones the commands do not respond promptly. This is true ?

Depending on budget, these, the Bose Ultra Open, Nothing Open Ear and Shokz Openfit Air are my top choices for staying in. Hope that helps! Basil
where can I buy it in the USA?
Only on import using a website like AliExpress.
Thanks.....what about call quality please ?
Good when you're indoors and it isn't too noisy. Bad when outdoors and it is noisy.

I have the bose equivalent. They are amazing.
Thanks for the Review they look kinda interesting tho
Are these good for people with small ears?
yes!
I like it i don't like putting ear pods inside
me too.. that's y I bought this recently. it's cool
Can you please put a link or the name of the AI app to modify the freeclip controls?
AI Life, it can be downloaded through the Huawei AppGallery, available through Huawei's official channels as an APK
I live in Canada and cannot find any information on how to buy them. Even the parent company knows nothing about them, HELP!!!
They are on Amazon
Thanks but call quality please ?
Good indoors and in a relatively quiet environment. Not good outdoors with a lot of noise as they aren't always easy to hear.
Can someone nearby hear what you are listen too and did the sound get pushed only in the ear of thee person who wear them?
Only if you put it at >50% volume
Omgggg i have small ears and hate in ears but also headphones are too bulky for me these seem awesomeeee
Is it good for calling?
Yes
how is the beat
what about the call quality?
Good indoors, bad outdoors. Either way they are better for calls than the new Bose open fit buds.
@@tech_edit thanks for the update. Does it have an embedded microphone in the clips? How's the microphone sound quality on these free clips?
what phone is it?
The foldable? A OnePlus Open and Oppo Find N3.
I like them since I hate in ear headphones.
That's why im using Samsung Bud's live.
Yeah, I find open fit stay in my ears way better. My favourites are actually the FreeBuds 4. Hope you're enjoying your buds!

Which one should I get ,huwawi freebuds 5 or this one ,I'm so confused 😢

No problem! Have a great day - Basil
i would get both, so i could switch depending on the occasion
Do you feel your outer ear compressed?
Does people nearby hear the sound ?
People didn't report hearing nearby sound even at high volumes. There is a little bit of a compressed sensation when you take them off, but while wearing them, I often forgot I was wearing anything.
