Great video. I recently bought a 2005 that had the water pump go out, and they blew the head gaskets. I got a helluva deal on the X, and am mechanically inclined, so I did all the engine work instead of spending three times what I paid for it to get someone else to change all the gaskets and water pump. Both cats are going out and the EVAP canister is flooded, so that's next. The plastics were in the same shape as when Jordan owned this one, so I did exactly what Raymond did... Masked everything off and hit it with Rustoleum flat black. It made a world of difference. I plan on doing the Titan swap and getting most of the parts at LKQ for next to nothing. Gotta find some coilovers though. This was a really inspiring vid, and I'm looking forward to being an X owner! Thanks!
Nice video. I liked what Jordan did with the mechanics of the truck. Raymond, I love that you decided to freshen up the truck after you purchased it. It drives me nuts when people put all that work into a vehicle and then don't take the time to clean it and break out a few rattle cans of paint to keep it fresh looking (not to mention keeping it from looking like a rust bucket). Also, like that you used paint on your truck and did not go with plasti-dip. I really hate it when people use that stuff. It looks completely cheap and does not hold up well at all.
The titanswap is fun and nice, but I'm finally finding it not ENOUGh travel. I'm going to CJD racing titan-swap my xterra next (8" longer instead of 3" longer). You should check it out it's sexy.

It was in need of some refreshing. I have been on 3 rips with Raymond since he got the truck and he is having a great time with it.
