Ha ha ha... Wow at minute 40 I had to stop as I can't resist myself from acknowledging what shanky has just commented on his tough experience driving colleagues double his age /multiplied work ex etc etc 😂😂😂. I was feeling so much thrill listening this explanation, esp while I have been witnessing this for years being a buiz operations guy.. i wonder working with such hi enthu people like shanky ..
A sales guy talking about the whole episode about the post , he speaks about having a meeting later in the evening with team . It is considered normal for.sales guy. If that is not toxic , what is . In the previous episodes the founders and vcs talk about importance of health. But sales guys are robots i guess
This is absolutely brilliant, Shantanu! So many insights to be gained for an employee looking to join early stage startups and what they should expect and provide. Thank you for doing this, Would love to connect with you someday.
In Western countries, the management takes care that their employees do not overwhelmed by work. Shantanu is indeed praising him and promoting toxic work culture.
Sir your podcasts are very knowledgeable and informative, I enjoys a lot Barbara shop podcasts. Please add subtitles and time span. It will be helpful for us.
The amount of sales knowledge in this podcast is far greater than any business school could provide ..kudos to team for bringing so much learning to its viewers 👍
Loved it. Best podcast on BSC. One of the reasons this episode is special because for the first time someone who is not a founder but equally important in building the company is being celebrated. This will encourage people to join startups.
Heard about references to Shanky in several of your earlier conversations. This is by far one of the most authentic and real conversation on a podcast I have seen. Wish you, Shanky and all the folks at BSC and Barbarshop all the best. Also a shoutout to Bhavna for suggesting that you should do this show.
Awesome episode But i am still confused about the tape on the table. Wanted to know the ideology of the creative team. Is it something related to fixing the avalanche created on linkedin
This is so far the best episode at BWS... :) Shanky sir has been someone who has inspired me and nurtured what I actually can become after closely working with him and the team..
1:34 "mauka milne ke liyea sab mehnat karte hain. But mauka milne ke Baad mere se jyada mehnat koi nahi kar sakta hai" Wah.. Mind blown. This is one life lesson to learn from guruji shanki ji 🙏
This is one of the very few episodes of any podcast that I've hooked up till the end. The most real and authentic achiever. No Shosha. Only real talk!! ❤️
best lines and everyone who is about to start a business should follow, "even if you are an employee you should give your 100% and work hard and foucs "
Awesome, its a very lucent talk. I liked it. Hopping to see such content more in future. Thanks for creating the value for us. By the way i am using your facewash, i must say its really good. Appreciated.
Hi Shantanu, I am really glad I found your channel, I have around 15 years of industry experience, but i never get to involve in such kind of discussions, I am able to learn many things from your podcasts, when I start my startup, your podcasts are going to be Bhagavadgita for me.
Your choice of guests, the granularity of conversation and just the amount of learnings I go back with ---- amazing ! Thank you for deconstructing and democratizing the entrepreneurship mindset.
Shantanu is Indian Jack ma. Alibaba Jack ma always says sucessful founder needs to find smart people and enable them to work together. Shantanu ji is doing the same🎉🎉
you guys are still talking about concepts like "Empathy" and "Values" as something needs to be used, leveraged and exploited for profitability.... that's fake empathy. These are human traits which should be done, relationships should be built without any expectations..that's the inherent nature... as soon as you listen to somebody to build somebody's trust in you, you are manipulating his/her emotions.
Focus on loss and profit. Loss surged than previous FY. Stop praising within yourself. Trying to show off how we are wiser than anybody else. Aspiring youth watching.. pls be careful on your statements. Stop celebrating fund raise. There are entrepreneurs who are making net profit in lacs everyday but no show off.
Responding mockery with a 2 hour podcast. Perhaps that's the appropriate answer to separating people who criticise genuinely versus people who just want to find faults than see the bigger picture.
Truly loved this episode! Aapke har podcast se itni zyada motivation milti hai startup shuru karne ki, it's just insane. Very inspiring conversations, and Shanky sir is lovely ❤ PS: Shantanu's voice is so good, addicted to it, is wajah se zyada podcast dekhne lag gaya hoon just kidding😂😂
It's so amazing that you recognise your team members and these podcasts are so much needed for the youngsters who are interested in knowing how the businesses work. Amazing 👏👏👏

BSC work culture is not toxic it's poorly perceived merely by looking at a pic shared with no Ill will its just that Shanky sir is super workoholic , you wouldn't have come across such a gentle soul like Shanky sir..God bless you
Hey Team, on timestamp 57:50, you guys mention Rahul Choudhary and a podcast, can you share details on what podcast was this? By the way I have been following since S1E1 and the learning has been exponential!

My only unsolicited advise- ‘Shanky, neeche bhi dekho’ Would love to have someone like him in my team, but dread to have him as a boss. He certainly is a go getter, but he should now transition to a good leader. After this talk, one metrics to look out for will be talent acquisition.
Your podcasts push people to not settle for mediocrity. Love your work. Thanks Shantanu 🔥
I guess for your audience he’s more relatable guest than the ones before
agreed
Absolutely…baki sab bolbachan hote hai, he is the best.
100%
Look for Mandar Vaidya's conversation. He is a gem
True

My life's been a lie, why does the bombay shaving company have their HQ in delhi instead of bombay?
Why is the HQ of "Bombay" Shaving Company in Gurugram? 🤔
This is absolutely brilliant, Shantanu! So many insights to be gained for an employee looking to join early stage startups and what they should expect and provide. Thank you for doing this,
Would love to connect with you someday.
In Western countries, the management takes care that their employees do not overwhelmed by work. Shantanu is indeed praising him and promoting toxic work culture.
Shanky is so proud of the work he does that he has to bang his chest every second.

Yaar ye bande jaisa banna hai but itne efforts bhi nahi daalne xD🤣🤣🤣

"Execution eats strategy for breakfast!" - Wow, what a simple yet powerful statement that captures a lot. [ 1:12:45 ]

Shantanu Deshpande not knowing whether Sangli is in Maharashtra or Karnataka is shocking !!
Why?
Page3 English wale log hain wo tera sangli kya janenege bhai
Can you pls SUBTITLE this Shantanu? Not a lot of your followers can understand Hindi and this is Gold. Pl consider :)
If possible pls pls pls have English subtitles

Public performance appraisal 😅
1:34 "mauka milne ke liyea sab mehnat karte hain. But mauka milne ke Baad mere se jyada mehnat koi nahi kar sakta hai"

Insights he shared are extraordinary.
This is Gold! Now we know why you spoke about Everyone needs a Shanky. Not just his hard work, his depth of thought and insights are amazing.
Guyz i am from sangli 💓
Your choice of guests, the granularity of conversation and just the amount of learnings I go back with ---- amazing ! Thank you for deconstructing and democratizing the entrepreneurship mindset.
Shantanu is Indian Jack ma. Alibaba Jack ma always says sucessful founder needs to find smart people and enable them to work together. Shantanu ji is doing the same🎉🎉
This is too good, I am happy to know I am the shanty of my organisation and there is no bad in it
What a podcast ... Literally learnt a lot and will apply it for my career as well.

Shantanu's beard growth is directly proportional to growth of Bombay Shaving Company...
How ironic
Great to see the alignment and goal orientation. Shanky comes across as a great guy and a thorough professional.
Guess he needs to do less to do more.
This episode sounds like when employee review meeting goes public! Lol
But honestly good discussion and learnings 😊👏
Responding mockery with a 2 hour podcast. Perhaps that's the appropriate answer to separating people who criticise genuinely versus people who just want to find faults than see the bigger picture.
Wanted to know shanky after the linked in post, To much knowledgeable and motivational
Spotify podcast is better than video podcasts. Imagining the way they look listening to them is much better than seeing them.
Truly loved this episode! Aapke har podcast se itni zyada motivation milti hai startup shuru karne ki, it's just insane. Very inspiring conversations, and Shanky sir is lovely ❤
PS: Shantanu's voice is so good, addicted to it, is wajah se zyada podcast dekhne lag gaya hoon just kidding😂😂
Simply, MAZA AAGAYA . Btw I have my board exam the day after tomorrow, but this is one of the mood refreshers and I thoroughly loved the conversation.
Don't know the work culture in BSC but after listening to this pod shanky seems to be that leader that all people loves to work with
For any company to have Shanky, I think is it equally important to have one Shantanu!!
This episode is so amazing and inspiring. Hats off to you 👏👏
From every podcast you can learn a whole lot of knowledge.
Shanky you are amazing!
1 hr into the podcast, it seems like a 1-on-1 for year-end appraisal.
HR hire kar rahe ho kya BSC me ? I ll gladly apply.

Ironical how the founder of bombay shaving company is bald 😅
What’s ironic. I shave my head. The ironic thing is I have a beard. :)
Excellent advice ❤
Gives me vibe of Manish Pandey(BeerBiceps)
Enjoyed it!
I became a fan today

His team swears by him in ways I can’t fathom.
Shanky you are awesome…. Can you share some of your failures and how did you recover from it
Ye shantanu ko itna chaska hai Gyan-doo-Giri ka ki agar koi guest na mile to apne employee ko hi le aata hai utha kar desk se. 😂
