  • Got these for a couple of reasons. Lock suitcases/bags during travel. Locking my tent while away from campsite and also locking my bike while sleeping during bikepacking trips. Although people can carry the bike they are unable to cycle it while these are through the disc brake. Ideal when camping in the mountains.

    So you can change the code, while it is locked with a different code and then you can open it with the new code???

    • @sandracarroccia3394
      @sandracarroccia3394 5 месяцев назад +1

      That is the EXACT problem I have. I can’t open it with the original code nor with the code I tried to change it two. Both locks are now useless

    I have a question. Is it easy to break it with plyers?

    • @GermanNutters
      @GermanNutters  2 года назад

      Good question. I haven't tried as I need the lock but I assume it would be possible to cut with decent wire cutters. It's more to stop people interfering with your luggage or stop the spontaneous thief. Anyone who is determined to break in/steal will be able to break pretty much any lock

    My only problem is that it is a little small making it hard for me to close it, but I'll practice it until it’s easy for me.

      Yes its a little fiddly but I guess it the lock was much bigger then it might get caught on things during transport. Hope you manage ok :)

    Brother what about the key slot😂

    • @GermanNutters
      @GermanNutters  2 года назад

      Thats for airport security. You don't get a key with it to use that. Only TSA can open it

      What's there? The part on how to change the number combination?

    Are these safe, no one can cut them?

    • @GermanNutters
      @GermanNutters  3 года назад

      With the right tools any lock is unfortunately breakable. But these are lightweight, easy to fit and will stop those that are after a quick grab and go. Ideal for airport travel as theu minimise the risk of people adding something to your bag that you shouldn't be travelling with. Hope that's useful

      @@GermanNutters - I find I lock my valuable inside my suitcase then lock it. Some places don't have safes. I keep my laptop or ipad in there, locked. Housekeeping might take something small but they won't be taking an entire suitcase. IMO

    why not just buy the 007 key for the locks instead of the code?

    • @GermanNutters

      The lock is designed to stop temptation theft and people adding things to your suitcase
