Duty - Affects of the Vietnam War on the Garner Community

"Duty" is an original play by Tim Stevens about the affects of the Vietnam War on the Garner community. The play honors the eight men from the community who perished in Vietnam and celebrates all of the men and women who served in the war. "Duty" features an original score by Marty Long and opening remarks by Medal of Honor recipient U.S. Army Col. Joe Marm. "Duty" is the fifth in a series of plays about the Garner community. "Duty" received the 2019 N.C. Society of Historians multi-media award.
