When it’s sickeningly hot, you can only sweat. When it’s cold, throw on an extra layer and it’s all good. Can’t wait for fall-winter.
I love Fall too.
The heat and humidity doesn't agree with Fibromyalgia unfortunately 😮
I completely agree. MUCH prefer the cold.
Did cool down here a little, it's only 96 degrees right now.
It's currently 98, where I am. Tomorrow is supposed to be 105 😩
Same here in North Florida 🤣
Frigid 95 here
I live in South Georgia, it's so hot today I just saw a squirrel rubbing some oil on his nutz.
The constant heat and humidity must suck.
@@firefly9838 It's much better than ice and snow, fried fly.
I'm so looking forward to this cool Old-school fall patern. I hate warm weather in September, October, and November!
Amen!!!!
Don’t count on it
Michigan gets freezing snow in October so we want the warm weather
I'm ready for an ice age at this point.
this guy is more accurate than my local weather channel lol
Right😂
Agreed. A great deal of the time he’s been on target at least for my part of the country. Don’t know about anyone else.
Very super excited for Cooler weather to come to Florida in September.
We Floridans will have to keep dreaming for that. Although it does get pretty cold up here in North Florida. I'm glad I moved up here from South West Florida.
Im a native and resident near Jacksonville. I personally can’t wait for cool air. It has been a sauna around here and I’ve about had it this year 😊
I'll be getting my sweater on once it dips below 90.
😂😂😂
92 here in Maryland today.... In fact a heat warning is out, for today, tomorrow, and the rest of the week.
@@knighthawk86855 My comment was sarcasm, since this guy said we would be below or well below average temps about now and well below for September, but now its looking normal or above. I'll assume record heat until October, regardless of forecasts.
😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄
It will have to get below 20 degrees before I will get my sweater out 😂😂😂😂
Definitely love a good, non damaging thunderstorm that has a great lightning show. Going to enjoy any more we get in Cincy.
I’ll believe it when I see it. Winter is becoming a cold fall the last 7-8 years in the mid-Atlantic & northeast.
Look for that to continue
Thanks you all for your prayers during my health issues.
Have they made a noticeable diffrence, something that could not have been done by medical treatments?
As a beekeeper I really pay attention to these forcasts you put out, in southeast michigan it looks like fall, add some cool crisp air to make it perfect!
I'm in South East to and everything is still green 😂
The cold is coming & it could last months? Yeah, it's called winter.
I hate summer! I live in Massachusetts and hope Fall comes sooner!
I'm in Missouri but I feel the EXACT same way! I LOVE fall and it lasts the shortest of all the seasons.
I LOVE FALL ❤️. SO SICK OF THIS SUMMER, HEAT, BUGS, HUMIDITY, IT IS GROSS, CAN NOT WAIT FOR COOL!!!
@@Tori77789I'm in Missouri also & agree, I love fall but so many times there is almost no fall.
@JohnPotts-kq7kk very cool! I am looking forward to an early fall.
Exactly.
Sierra's in California snow in August - 1st time in 20 years. Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere? Have you heard this news?
Ya they said since 2013.
I like the look-back to see how well the model forecast and direct weather did with the prediction and interpretation of the models.
Reminder. Models of forecasts always begins with assumptions.
Here in Las Vegas we are starving for cooler breezes as it has been horrendously hot since June. Please Lord, bring us cooler weather.
In Atlanta Ga the heat ain't let up artic blast my foot
Cold is coming, soon
It don't come in January let alone August or Sept
When The Temperatures Are Cold In Nova Scotia
Hurricanes Don’t Form In Cold Weather
It’s going to be 100 degrees throughout the last week of August in Kentucky here with the last 2 days 30-31 having a storm chance! Labor Day (Sep 1-2) is good though.
It has been hot in Lexington..that few days of cool weather was so nice..
@@pamelamcfadden337 yes
Forecasting 80° here in West Texas this weekend with lows in the mid 60s. August is usually very hot here. I'll believe when I feel it.
Global cooling is spreading south we already feel the global cooling here in Montana each year has been colder than the last.
How cold is going to be like in Western North Carolina in the next weeks.
I hope it's really a lot cooler than normal. Ready for Fall.👍
* "How cold is it going to be in Western North Carolina in the next few weeks?"
the word 'like' is not necessary
Nice overview
It's NOT going to be COLD anytime soon for any part of the Carolina's.
I can't wait to see snow in Virginia
It’s crazy because for a few years now I was used to July and August having way hotter days, but then this year this week of August has been the only hot week since July 4
That’s global cooling for you summers are getting shorter and it sucks I wish global warming was real!
Arctic blasts ??
Come on man
Crap , rain on my birthday September 6th in South Carolina an I’ll be 57 an rain ☔️ well it is what it is an love the channel man
I just turned 57 and we had the biggest rain storm in our states history😆😆
Happy early birthday!🎉 My birthday is September 10th and I’m praying to see some cooler Fall weather.
We need to get those cold fronts down south to kill our hurricane 🌀 season because, I'm so ready for Fall🍂🍁 & the holiday season 🍁🎃🍗🥧🍷🎄🎅☃️🍾🥂🍻🎆🎉😌
Right there with ya!!!❤😁👍
Man I’m from Alabama. James Spann has to be the busiest weather man of all time. Literally hit the 60’s as lows last weekend. Back to 99 and 100 this week. Alabama I’ve left the house in shorts and been freezing before returning home only 3 hrs later. Our weather is always crazy. 😂
All these storms are missing western Pa. We haven’t had rain since the beginning of June.
The only thing that was going to break us out of this drought were tropical systems which aren’t happening.
Can't wait to cruise around with top down wearing hoodie and long johns under my shorts !❤😊
God is so amazing 😊
I prefer Santa out of the imaginary friends.
😅😅
Here in northern GA it's definitely been cooler than normal but still pretty warm. Thanks for the video!
Global cooling is a serious problem it’s going to affect our ability to grow crops (because as much as winter lovers don’t want to admit it you can’t grow nothing in the winter there is a reason why growing season is in the spring and summer months) leading to famines that’s what happened during the year of no summer, unusual frosts in the summer months causing crop failure leading to famine.
Oh, and Thank You for All your excellent reporting. Job well done! 👍
Thank you for doing the work to get the weather info. Out. Delivery is great! Thanks!
Thanks!
I live in Charlotte, NC, but my wife graduated from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide 🐘🅰🏈!!!!!
GO GEORGIA BULLDOGS!!!
Anything can happen when more than one country has weather modification abilities. Cool that you can see and predict what they are going to do.
There is no such thing as "Normal" when it comes to weather and Climate.
Exactly.
I love thunderstorms too, but now regardless they are all treated as severe and it blows my phone up with alerts. One of my best childhood memories is sitting on a screened in porch with my dad watching the lightning and still remember when there would be a flash I could see the cows out in the field for a brief moment. But no more, they are all considered "severe" now.
I mean, who says you still can't go out on a screened in porch during a nighttime "severe" t-storm and watch the lightning show. Not that that's recommended, of course. I'm not sure where it is you live in that all your storms are considered severe. Severe storm criteria is met by either of two thresholds: wind gusts of 58 mph or greater, and/or hail at a diameter of 1" or greater. If either of those are radar-indicated or observed by official personnel at ground level, then that storm will indeed have a "severe" warning label attached.
Go Dawgs I'm watching the Georgia Bulldogs game this weekend.
The entire week here in SW IN. is forecast to be 90s, not even dropping into high 80s for highs until friday.
So idk where all this "cooling" trend is supposed to be.
Were in a drought period for couple weeks now.
Trees are dying allover.
Hopefully the rain storms will get here before there is too much damage causing early leaf drop. As the fall colors will really suck.
Ahhhhh….. can’t wait for all that snow to reach South Florida… we’re cooking alive over here 😂
@@chemoautotroph I think you're gonna be cooked/burnt before it snows there😂 stick a fork in ya, you're done bud🤣
Cant wait get ready north fall than winter 💙☃️❄️
I really like your title today. This is something I have been thinking about in the upper Midwest all this year.
Thanks for your accurate reports @DirectWeather ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
That's a heck of a Canadian arch that goes all the way down to Florida September 8th-9th~
After having lots of rain in the northwest ohio at the beginning of the summer, now we have dry everywhere! We need Rain!!!
You should see what’s going on here in the northern panhandle of West Virginia and eastern Ohio If you think it’s dry there
It's going to 101 degrees here in West Tennessee, this Wednesday.
Thank you for the good job you are doing
So when is it going to be in the low 70s in Florida?
Maybe we will get a little break in the heat , in like 45 days or so 😊
Bring it on!!!!!!!!!..I'm in West Tennessee and I'm sick of this hot weather
Modified weather must be difficult to predict.
Thank you for trying.
😅😅
Ain't that the truth!
Great point!
Summertime and the living is easy.
😂😂😂😂
If I recall during hurricane Katrina, we got 12 inches of snow in northernwest Montana.
Live in Minnesota and love this area. Always look forward to all the seasons!
I don't mind cold temps as long as we don't get snow and ice with it!
How are you so much better than the tv weather guys??!! Honestly at this point I don’t care. Liked and subscribed!!! 😊
In the Early 1900's it snowed on they 4th of July in Kentucky it was my great grandmother's birthday she told that story everytime someone complained of the cold😂😅
It's hot as fire here in NC. There is no Artic Blast coming. I've been seeing this story for weeks
At first I thought the title said these could be the last months like the world was gonna end at the end of this year I was like what!!! 😂
Looks like Fall is arriving a little early. Even for most southern states in the US despite the warm air from the Gulf of Mexico. Honestly it's really perplexing, this summer was predicted to be record breaking heat throughout the entire season and yet for many Americans it was one of the coolest ones in a good long while. And if the weather does start to drop down further and not go back up by the time of the second half of September (summers in here in Texas tend to last until the start of October) it looks like the whole country is going to be having a cool crisp Fall. And if Summer has been below average and if Fall remains as it should be or even also below average, I wonder what that will mean for winter?
Dude most have went to the John Madden weather institute they way he draws on the map.
Is this happening due to the cooling of the AOMC?
I saw a video about that yesterday!!
And another channel was saying it was because of the '22 eruption of Hunga Tonga.
It’s been 100 degrees for weeks here . Cold .. bring it on.
Good cant come soon enough I live in Maryland and it's always so humid anymore
I had a strange hunch that this winter is going to be brutal.
Well shit…this winter looks pretty gay lol
We’re outside of Missoula, Mt. and the ground squirrels are starting to hibernate. That’s about 1-2 months early for this area.
How do you know did you interview them ??
@@truckercowboyed2638 Watching, when they disappear they haven’t gone on vacation
Our state of Montana is greatly affected by global cooling, Average highs dropped by 1.7 °F, especially in spring and summer. It has also gotten wetter and snowier, especially noticeable this spring and summer as we had a snowy spring and now a rainy summer perception has been common and an above average winter is projected for Montana in 2024 below average temperatures and above average snowfall, we are in for a brutal winter I’m looking to move south to try and escape the severe effects of global cooling.
@@FormanuserYou kinda signed up for "brutal" winters when you moved to Montana. Nothing new there. Wintertime has always been rough in MT.
@@Nunyah_Bidness I did not move here I was born here
The forecast for the KC area was accurate. Rain amounts were spotty, and the rain shafts added to a pretty sky
extreme heat for the center and western north america
Came to the comments just to see people talk about the color patterns. Was mildly disappointed that I did not see more than I did.
Of course "they" are going to announce the "hottest weather ever" always....because that's the narrative. They aren't doing real weather now and obviously, you realize that as well. Thanks for a well thought out, reasoned weather prediction!
Well, it is cold to me in the 70’s east WA. Gonna be a early winter I believe.
I'm watching the Michigan State Spartans play this Friday night in E. Lansing, MI! Go Green, Go White!
Spartans prepare for GLORY.
Hot and windy, pretty typical for time of year.
Texas Longhorns, who I’m rooting for I’ve been rooting for them for 5 to 6 years now
Im sorry for you!!!
Go Razorbacks
As far as I know, there will not be any rain without something for water vapor to coalesce around to form drops large enough to falll out of the atmosphere. To mka a long story short, no dust, no rain!
Summer, OOOH the HUMANITY of it all!!
If you do an aviation weather forecast it would be valuable
Colder, not warmer? Hallelujah! We are not on rhe ragged edge of Gotterdammerung after all! Hallelujah!
Yup. Cools down for bout 4 days. Then warms up for bout 5 days. Then repeat. Til bout mid Dec. Then cold til bout March. Then warms up bout 4 days Then cools down bout 4 days. Then repeat til bout mid June them hot til bout sept.
I hope nyc as 500 inches of snow this winter. And the temp does not rise above 20 from nov till April
Bring it on! I hate the heat
Im in georgia, it's gunna be 94⁰ today.... I won't complain if this happens.
I was just talking to my girl last weekend saying this weather reminds me of when i was a child we have s local fare here called pne and as soon as it came you would know winter coming
Send some of that to Phoenix, please.
Here in N. Fla Rain, Rain, Rain in between 100 degrees😅
Good! We need cooler temps. It's 90+ degrees today.
Would be nice to see you include Alaska ❤
Massive humidity yesterday. Glassed in porch temp said 90.
Looks like Mt Shasta got a foot of snow give or take.
Louisiana 70380 temperature is much better. High in lower 90°. 80°kicker AC, has been dormant. The 5k ac is on 24/7 until high is 80° 94° was the last high it's going in the right direction. .

Cooler for months? We use to call that fall and winter.
Still over 100 degrees here in ks and dry as petrified wood.
Saw a solid bown wooly caterpillar today in the northeast. Mild winter?
Not sure where you're at, but the general northeast is supposed to be warmer than normal this fall and winter.
Well I saw one channel that said the US is having warmer winters because of the '22 eruption of Honga Tonga but it also made Europe colder.
Anything spoken on what the overall winter weather will be like for any point at this particular time is pure conjecture. Anyone with any experience or weather knowledge will tell you the same.
Where in Va did you say you are at? I am in Va also..
Alarmist weather routine? I guess everyone needs a side hustle 😏😏😏😏😏😏
