Having visited medellin 2 years ago, time flies by.
Just walking around and being on a few tours, hearing some stores. It's still crazy to think how much it has changed in just 20 years

Whenever I hear shit like this about cartel leaders and mafia bosses/members I always go “WHY DO PEOPLE LOOK UP TO THEM LIKE THEY’RE GODS! THEY DID SHIT LIKE THIS AND ARE LOOKED UP TOO!” Even those who don’t wanna be like them look up to them. John Gotti is one example. He had a funeral march as if he was Biggie Smalls

@@tigerhoods7927 yep. I hear that about these mafia and cartel guys whenever they finally get busted. Someone defends them like “But he gave so much money to build these parks for the kids to play soccer on”. The old “I did this nice thing for you now you must treat me good no matter how many people I have killed and butchered”.

@@bigjoeofthe707 I mean idk man I’m not trying to offend you like I’m just being real like I’m assuming you probably idk in America where it’s good I’m not saying it’s great but America compared to most places is a paradise and when these Narcos give people houses and cars and like basically give them a life the people look at them as a god like to them it’s like if some guy bought you a lambo like you’d love him like these people are poor and a house to them is unbelievable. But in your defense when people in America like not calling y’all out but it’s the truth like when people there praise especially Mexicans who were born in America and haven’t even been in Mexico act like there the coolest person in the world then yeah I feel you like wtf 😂 but just being real and civil not trying to argue just trying to lyk reasonings and if you aren’t from the states my bad for assuming not even an insult America is a good country.

Yeah it's irrelevant to his actions, the "long live pablo" & "respect the legend" shit is all just to appreciate the fact that a dude who had zero prospects at all had literally no chance was the 7th richest man in the world in his 30s. That's amazing even if he did it in the most atrocious way imaginable. So yes, respect the goat, buy don't forget that man was an awful fcking person.
