Ahh Timesplitters. The only series you could play as a carrion carcass while being shot at by a terribly animated shotgun wielding T Rex while having a sock puppet snipe you with a sci fi sniper. Genius.
The best example of a great game better than many but overshadowed by the publicity of others... So underestimated The few that had the opportunity of playing this magnificent game will remember all in their memories
Oh damn, yes. The only game I've finished at 100% THREE times. After losing 2 saves, the game was so good that itself alone was enough to encourage me to unlock everything each time!
As an old TimeSplitters fan, I deeply miss this game.. This Song, along with Like A Robot, you play them on any war type game (ex: Team Fortress 2, Halo Multiplayer, OverWatch, any game with 2 teams against each other.) It goes so well with it
This song that I haven't heard or even thought of in over 10 years just suddenly popped into my head for absolutely no reason and I had to go listen to it. Man I miss the Timesplitter series...
Only good thing about this game being a hidden gem is that the internet today won't find the absurd thing put in a rated T game and other... things that will trigger media
@@splicermeh6752 especially in virus. Edwina, monkey, and robifish are annoying af because it's hard to shoot at them with how fast they run. And you can't outrun them because along with the virus speed buff, they are already naturally fast.
Saw this game was on sale on the Xbox store yesterday and INSTANTLY bought it for me and my cousins, man the memories were flooding in. We’re going to system link and play again!
Been playing the Gamecube version of this a lot lately. This song brings back memories. Me and my cousin would do Virus matches in the disco map with this playing.
I remember myself listening this music and screaming like crazy while I'm playing it. Oh God that was amazing... Everyone around me thought I'm crazy but I'm just enjoyed a virus mode with my friend .... 💔
I miss thoose games today. Games who bring you joy, are full of content, doesn't know the term lootbox and microtransactions or even dlc, games which get released finished and can entertain you for MONTHS. Games who are pro-consumer, for gamers and not for a greedy money feasting publisher
This was the best game ever this song has been stuck in my head for years I love it and this game the memories playing it all night best game in existence
Most friggin awesome game of all time. I hope they make a new one on Xbox or Ps3 cos honestly? Who WOULDN'T pay money to see Cortez and Crop. Hart in HD? That'd be the coolest thing ever
damnnnnniiiit!!!! all the songs from all the timesplitters (along with other downloads) were available from the free radical website, but since they're no more the website was taken down, thus no more timesplitters music!
This game was way ahead of its time with the custom modes and the extensive mapmaker with primitive coding in it. The writing in the story was out of this world in the time and its still a lost art to this day!
@SeanHasACake I don't know if you know, but Free Radical were bought by Crytek shortly after going bankrupt and are now called Crytek UK. They were responsible for the multiplayer in Crysis 2. Rumour has it that they are currently developing TimeSplitters 4 on CryEngine 3, and that a HD collectionof TimeSplitters 1, 2, and Future Perfect may be released prior.
Generally my favourite character has gotta be Cortez... I mean cmon, hes the main character and his Epicness still continues to amaze me :P (I do like the Monkeys too though... and Lazarus Mumble) xD

+Korppless damn straight, friend. Cannot wait for Rewinds release
Still playing it!
truly the best. perfect in every regard. characters, maps, weapons, speed, and music!
Oh damn, yes. The only game I've finished at 100% THREE times. After losing 2 saves, the game was so good that itself alone was enough to encourage me to unlock everything each time!
Still got this game. Still play it. Still FUN!
Still have it too
i still remember this awesome game
I have 2 copies but my brothers and I had nightmares about this game as kids so we stopped playing it. Haven't played in years still
I wish I still had it. I loved playing capture the briefcase on the Subway level.

Why is this song such a banger!?
Still humming it to this day.

Shame that remaster never happened,
would've been nice to see more people get into it & share the experience once again~

Same here. Good thing some people are making "TimeSplitters: Rewind".
This is a Thing. I got this phenomenon too
You're welcome
Just had it today
Here's a comment so you can hopefully find your way back, traveler
Only good thing about this game being a hidden gem is that the internet today won't find the absurd thing put in a rated T game and other... things that will trigger media
The Monkey in TimeSplitters is the equivalent of Oddjob in Goldeneye
Came here to comment that. I was 4 years too late

Who throws a shoe?
this is why there is an entry in player stats that tracks how many times you've played as monkey, and there is a gold trophy next to it if it is 0

Now you can do virus matches in real life.
Playing the disco map WITHOUT the default music??? Borderline blasphemy.
Virus mode freaking rocks. Played it all the time.
"Kill. Kill kill like a monkey." No one understands the epicness that is this game. I miss the shit out of it!
I can't believe it's been TEN years since I first played this game. I mean I can, but I also can't. Good times : )

Still play this game, love the campaign
One day, this game will act as a framework when we start regulating the gaming industry
My Favorite song from my childhood
A Damn musical masterpiece
Thank you; whatever gracious glorious soul uploaded this to youtube
The best part about this coming on autoplay is guessing whether it's Like a Monkey or Like a robot before the first vocal line :)
YEARSSSS after this came out and this song is still my jam
I can't stop thinking about this game and how much it means to me.

Hail to the complete Backwards compability of the Xbox.
Just played it a few days ago on the series x.
Works perfect
I remember my friend had this game. We would load up one-shot kill capture the bag with dual shotguns, both pick monkey, and play for hours.
Soooo many memories D: I really hope Timesplitters rewind will be successful
Lets just hope it gets released.
More chance of a propper remaster at this stage
TIME TO SPLIT!

My condolences.
Memories of trying to finish that god damn Queen of Harts challenge under 2mins for the plat... Glad this song played - kept some sanity at least XD
