I can see why it is called EARTH MELODIES. It feels like she is connected to the earth and singing to represent it. Very interesting. 😱👍 Great reaction.
🎼 Great reaction to a unique artist and song, Hap..🎶 First time I heard this it stopped me in tracks, I shivered and started weeping. It honestly touched me to the core of my soul. 💥 She first performed it on Italy's Got Talent. She made it up as she went along for that first performsnce. She has subsequently performed it many times and has recorded it. She was Russian born and was brought up in rural Canada. Some of the breath work, throat singing, is done by Russians, Canadians and Mongolians ( The Hu). She has been studying music since she was 3 years old and she received degree in opera from Milan, Italy. She is still competing on various talent shows as well as in operatic recitals. Her voice is captivating to me. Peace J ✌ ☮ 💕🦋
Ohhh, that was too captivating to be so short. What did it make me feel? Sadness, hope, yearning. I flew away with her voice so, when it finished, the landing was abrupt. Amazing singer! P.S. The movie was "The Fifth Element"
That reminded me on that kind of chanting of Native Amercicans. The breath technique at the beginning somehow as a way of preparation to free your spirit and to let go your soul. So to be more open for other natural and earthly sensations like the sound of the wind or the waterfall, flying birds or the running wolves and the video emphasised this feeling. Well, hard for me to explain, but he has definitely the capability in her voice and the technique to convey this wonderful. An interesting artist. Love your thoughts to this performance, thank you HAP 🥰🙋🏻♀️
It's not obvious from the English spelling but her first name is yek-a-te-RIN-a. She was born in Ukraine but raised in Canada. She apparently learned to sing in the forests of Siberia. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
