Haven't played the Outlast games yet. Can you - without spoilers - quickly elaborate on what the first Outlast did better over the second one? Pretty please. Thank you.
@@STFUppercut69 Well, the first game had more action, and you actually want to play it again. In the second you get lost real quickly and it just isn't fun. Tried not to spoil anything, but the first game just had better interactions.
@@STFUppercut69 i think the plot and characters of outlast 1 are just more immersive and interesting than outlast 2. outlast 1 has a straightforward plot about inhumane experimentation on inmates, and the villains are absolutely wicked. outlast 2's plot is quite convoluted imo, and the villains are not all that memorable. overall, outlast 1 (and even its DLC, highly recommend it!) are awesome overall, while outlast 2 just falls flat
Despite the more open environments, the pathways you need to take in Outlast 2 are way too linear. Trial and error is basically this game. The story is also explained more in notes, which a lot of people probably did not read or didn't find all of them as they are scattered everywhere.

That main doctor to me looks and sounds kinda like dr wernicke, what if this is the beginning of murkoffs experiments? Also when the character is running the area even sort of looks like murkoff
@Argonaut _V yes definitely could be and does make sense, however i really think it is wernicke, i even recently played the game again and compared his voice and model to this trailer and think they resemble each other most, but this is just what i think

Darwin Bethell the first game felt so-freaky, the asylum, the people, it wasn’t even the jump scares, and it didn’t get gory until the end 2 was just--like most horror game’s nowadays (besides the good ones) too much gore, too many jump scares
Yes you have night vision screwed into the skull and probably no need to changes the battery for vidcam like 2 games before and probably some friendly NPC that have short live🤔🤔 I mean what else you could expect from this game😅
Maybe one day. 1 was excellent. 2 was alright and would’ve been a decent standalone game or the 1st game, but it just doesn’t live up to the 1st game imo.
